was trying to pull together a post assigning each saint to a fruit of the Spirit (there are nine of them!! Joy and Patience are in there!!) but after those two the rest of them are kind of a stretch. HOWEVER I do find the idea that Jod tried tying his first two (three, if you squint and make Faithfulness a synonym for duty) saints to more Catholic imagery and then just. Gave up. Like yeah none of you are going to embody peace you just ate your best friends

YOU KNOW... I was just gonna write a bit in the tags like. "The Houses are also just Like This and it's one of the few things that really is so nice. ;w; It's basically always 'probably male' and 'in all assumption a woman' and 'seemed to be a her' etc. Gideon looks at salt and pepper priest and goes 'might be a man or a woman or neither' and proceeds to assume 'they' so casually." Etc.

But then it clicked that, wait, Alecto just also ISN'T a woman.

On top of the obvious, Alecto even uses it/she/they pronouns for itself in the NtN epilogue alone. "When the rock that had been made meat awoke in a body, it cried out aloud, saying—You" and a bunch more at the start. "[...] then the body remembered, and was mightily dashed in the memory of Alecto, so that all their sleep was perished with a noise."

Like that's probably not a deal breaker for Harrow, the divine in this universe is still inherently feminine, but realizing that this is something John's been deluding himself about for 10,000 years and Harrow was willing to consider after One Second. Fucking incredible...
