Hello I have some questions on your worldbuilding if you don’t mind

How intelligent are the dragons?

Do you distinguish between dragons drakes wyverns etc or use them interchangeably?

What humanoid species are there? (I’m especially interested in any anthros)

Lastly do you have a magic system or is it just loose?

1. They are all about as intelligent as a person. They take the jobs that they do willingly

(Many drakes who join the police force view their croppings as an unpleasant but necessary safety requirement. Besides, after leaving the force they are given the option to grown their tails and horns back with magic)

2. Distinctions are made. A drake has no wings, a wyvern has two legs etc etc. They are all different species under the dragon umbrella

3. Standard fantasy races. Tallmen (human), elves, halflings, orcs, teiflings, dragonborn, dwarves to name a few

4. Magic pretty much uses dnd rules, where you just need to wave your hands, say a few words and have the right components to cast a spell. Most people have access to a small collection of spells and cantrips to make their life easier

I DO think tumblr's dev team has been instructed to constantly implement new features and that's why they keep tweaking the UI in goofy ways. I imagine this is an upper management thing, so even if we say "well don't change anything and just maintain the status quo" they'll continue to make other changes anyway.

I will admit I REALLY like the recent improvements they've added to tumblr's search (you can exclude terms now!! you can search multiple tags!! and time frames!!) so it's not like they're incapable of adding useful features. it might be mutually beneficial for us as users if we were more vocal about things we want and don't want. Some features I'd like to see added:

ability to embed videos in reblogs

ANIMATED GIF ICONS!!!!!!!!!!!!

the ability to turn off other people's animated gif icons

the ability to filter original posts on a user's ENTIRE blog, not just a tag/search

more html support, like what if we could build tables

adding reactions to replies! I'm glad we can like them more but it'd be nice if we could take this further

embeddable tiktoks?? I don't even use tiktok but I remember trying to embed one in like 2020 and I'm surprised we still can't! even vines were able to be embedded

Hermitcraft Dispatch AU Pt. 1

Ok so I just finished playing Dispatch and I freaking LOVED it! Sooooo I thought it would be fun to combine my two current hyperfixations and make a Hermitcraft Dispatch AU!

Quick overview for those who have never played Dispatch:

In this AU Impulse works as a superhero dispatcher, someone who analyzes a team’s strengths and weaknesses and answers distress calls by the sending the hero most suited to the job. However, he’s been assigned to the Hermit Program, a team of former villains trying to become heroes. To say the least, it’s like trying to herd cats and the office and comm lines are always in chaos when the Hermits show up to work.

My entry for @soulsmake's event! This AU doesn't have a name (yet) but it was made by me and @fishy-soup! Was initially going to be a much larger comic but I ran out of time. Grian and Scott would have made a later appearance, hence their designs.

I'll probably finish the comic when I have time, we'll see.
