“I don’t get why we change our schedule, we could’ve have done this trip next March.” Your friend Mark said as he stuff his cold hands in his thick winter coat. You let out a small cough in your scarf before clearing your throat.
“Well that’s because I have plans next March, and cause we obviously couldn’t do it sooner. It was supposed to be this March until that nasty earth quick happened.” You said, Harper sighs as she drinks a hot coco. “Plus it’s pretty here, snow looks good in Japan.” You said smiling.
“It’s beautiful, that is if you’re inside, warm, with a strong handsome man wrapped around you.” Harper daydreams, sighing. “Let’s head back to our hotel. I’m getting hungry.” You mutter, letting out another cough. Jade another friend looks over at you. “Hey {name} you getting sick or something?” She asked.
“What? No, it’s just allergies.” You protested, Lucas a man you always had a crush on puts his hand on your shoulder. “Give her a break guys, she lost her cat. I heard when people grieve their immune system gets weaker.” His words made you feel unsure of what he’s trying to said. But the mentions of your childhood cat made you frown, they couldn’t see your lips due to the scarf wrapped around you.
“Don’t mention the poor woman’s cat you jerks.” Harper hisses. “Let’s enjoy this vacation, we should order a seafood boil. I’m starving.” She said. The group moved without a word back to the hotel, sounds of their boots stomping on the snow. You looked at them, you were starting to regret bringing them. You’ll most likely have a better time with your mother than them.
“Ahahah! You remember that time when you hooked up with your old teacher?? That was hilarious!” Mark cried out laughing as the five were around the table. Everyone ate the large plate of sushi, usually you’ll eat away with them but you weren’t there. You looked down at a rice bowl, a cat one. A cruel joke they did to “cheer you up.”
You’ll eat it anyways but this cough was making you lose your appetite, allergies can be bad but it’s getting to a point where you can’t eat one more gain of rice. Maybe you are catching something. You did catch something. You looked up at your friends who was clearly ignoring or completely unaware of your discomfort and frustration state.
The hotel room was warm and big, a view of Tokyo, well the country side. You wanted to said that you don’t feel good but that’ll just kill the mood. No one cares, you feel so exhausted as if you hadn’t slept in days. That’s probably it, you’re probably just tried, exhaustion cause lack of appetite, and cough and a headache. You’ll just sleep it through and you’ll be just fine.
You put down your folk and got up. “Hey guys.” You call out, they’re still chatting. “Hey guys do you hear that?” Harper jokes, you frown. “Guys!” You cried out, they stopped and turned. “I’m feeling really tired, I’m gonna go to bed early.” You muttered. Mark looked down at your untouched rice cat bowl. “You haven’t finished your rice.” He said.
“I’m not really hungry.” You said, before walking back to your room. Got to your night routine, went through your brand iPhone 4 your father had gotten you for your birthday. You put it on a nightstand, letting it charge before falling asleep.
You were supposed to feel better. You didn’t, your nose was now stuffy and you couldn’t breathe through your nose. You can feel your sinuses fill with mucus, it disgusted you. You touched your forehead. No fever, that was the number one rule your old nurse said back in school.
“No fever, no illness.” She’ll said, you can almost hear her voice as you recall the memory. These allergies probably turn to the cold, you’re lying to yourself you know it. But you don’t wanna be a party pooper. “Hey! {name}!” You heard Lucas knock on your door. “You ready? We’re gonna hike, I heard they have ancient temples up there.” He said, you immediately got up.
“Umm.. give me five minutes!” You call out, your nose clearing up again the second you got up. You change into your winter jacket, change of jeans, boots and a hat. A scarf wrapped around your neck, being in such a warm state in a room temperature environment will make you sweat but if anything it made you feel as if you woke up early and felt the difference between the cold morning and the warm blankets your parents had prepared for you.
“Ahh—wooo!” You sneezed again into your scarf, your friends who were around the exit of a lobby looked over you. “Still a cold?” Harper asked. “Yeah..” You muttered. “You’ll walk it off, let’s go! I wanna take some pictures of those old temples.” Mark said.
You step outside of the lobby, the cold air chilling you to the bone but you kept your head up. Grabbing your phone before snapping a picture.
You looked at it, it looked nice. You put your phone back in your pocket and hurried to catch up, catching up with them will be no problem but this cold made it impossible so you were always 3 feet away behind them, they didn’t even bother to slow down for you. It’s okay, they’re fast, you’re pretty slow.
“Wow! Look how pretty.” Jade awes, you hums in knowledge as you saw the view snowy sky, it was getting brighter within 30 minutes of walking, you took out your phone again and snapped another shot.
Your moment was interrupted by a cough from your lungs, you gasps for air as your friends beside you took pictures, you clear your throat and forced to swallow your mucus. Yuck…
“Hurry up {name} , we don’t have all day for you.” Mark said, a bit annoyed. He noticed how far you were with the group. You looked down, digging your face into the warm scarf. “I’m sorry.” You said, as you forced your weak body to quicken up the pace.
The group made it out of the hotel and bridge to reveal a small town, you guys walked in the no busy roads, looking around and studying the quiet town. You took another photo while passing by.
Winter would’ve been a beautiful season if it weren’t for bacteria outbreaks around this time. Or every season will be beautiful, is it the bacteria that’s making the season bad or is the people that’s making everything bad? You’ll never know, cause the friends in front of you. Are they the cold winds to the harsh winter seasons? You don’t remember winter being this cold.
You breathe through your mouth, seeing your breath fog through the cool air. Your nose was cold, it slowly started to burn from the winds, you buried your face in the scarf as you continued to make your way through the snow.
Do they even know where we’re going? The boys did mention an old temple up in the hills but are they even allowed to go up there? It could be so old that it can fragile towards footsteps itself. The last you want is to be involved in paying a heavy fee for destroying a historical site. You shake that thought as you noticed the small town you were staring at was now out of view.
You cough again, your sinuses filled with mucus, your throat burning from breathing in so much air, and the pressure around your temples was making your eyes shut. This isn’t a cold. This is why too severe to be a simple cold. You pat your cheek and took another photo of your friend’s footsteps.
You may it out of the path of the tree when your friends saw it. Harper opened her mouth. “How exactly have we been walking? I lost count.” She asked, Mark check his watch. “Oh geez. We’ve been out here for about two hours now, Lucas this is the right path right?” He asked, Lucas hummed and looked around. Studying his surrounding, he pointed at another path, just a mile away.
“Look, there’s the way to the temple, it’s abandoned. I heard it was last use during WW2. They used it for executions and it hasn’t been touched since. There’s whispers that the bodies are still there.” Lucas said, Mark laughs. “Yeah right! Bodies still in the temple. I heard the smell of a rotting corpse is horrible, you can smell it miles away, and not to mention it gets really hot in Japan, imagine the smell of a 70 or 60 year corpse boiling in the sun. Gross!” He made a disgusted face.
“We’ll never know, you know how cruel people can be. Especially during the war, everyone was killing everyone.” Lucas said. “Let’s go,”
The group continued to walk through the hills as they went deeper and deeper into the hills. “There it is!” Mark pointed, you looked up to see a large and abandoned temple poking out of the trees, they found a flight of stairs leading to the temple. With heavy and slow steps the group climb up.
You let out a small cough into your scarf, you started to sweat, in 14 degree weather. You saw your friend’s reactions to the cold, they looked cold but they definitely weren’t sweating. You fear, you develop a fever.
“Guys..” you call out weakly, your throat sightly shaking. They didn’t hear you or worse they’re ignoring you. It’s clear they’re already annoyed with you, they always find the littlest excuses to be upset with you, watching the tv first, having the first serving, spending more time with your family. You didn’t wanna upset them further. You should turn back and head back to the hotel. You will, you should but looking behind you.
You have no idea where you are, and how to get back to the hotel. You didn’t wanna get more lost than you already are. You had no choice but to follow them until this trip was over.
You enter the temple, everything seem to be left for nature to take over again. Things from the 1940s and before then, you saw a photograph of a beautiful woman, you picked it up and it dated back to 1942. But out of the corner of your eye, you saw a woman hanging on the doorframe leading to the hallways. You squealed as you dropped the photo. Your friends looked at you with mild confusion and amusement.
“What’s wrong {name}?” Lucas asked, holding back a chuckle. You pointed back to the empty hallways, your throat swollen and shaking. “There’s a woman..!” You whisper, Mark takes a peak. “There’s no one there {name}, maybe you’re seeing things. The cold is probably getting to you, you’re starting to see things.” Mark laughed, you pout. You know what you saw.
“Woah,” Jade said, everyone came up to her and saw pile of letters. “Does anyone know Japanese? I can’t read this.” She said, everyone nodded ‘no’ but you raised your hand. “I know a bit.” You mutter, they stared at you before Jade hanging you the letter. You stared to read over it. Who ever wrote this letter clearly was in distress, the sloppy Japanese letters, the tear stains, a small dot of blood in the corner.
“So what does it said?” Harper asked.
“I can’t make out the words clearly but it seems to said that she’s being taken away from her family, the date says 1944. That’s near the end of the world, and when the Americans started to close in on them. What I can remember from history class, it seems everyone here is committing mass suicide..” You muttered
“Well forced suicide, so yeah technically executed.” You added. “Huh? But they still had a year left before the war, so why then?” Mark questioned.
“Have you not listen in history class? You know how cruel and evil those Japanese soldiers were back then? I would kill myself too if they were near me.” Jade said crossing her arms. This was your chance to tell them you don’t feel good.
“Hey guys. We should head back, I think I developed a fever—“ You were cut off by a sound of a woman’s wailing. Everyone froze and turn ice cold with fear.
“Ahhhhhhh—“ It screamed through the empty temples. “Here! Take the sick one!” Mark calls out, pushing you to the floor as everyone ran out. “Hey—“ coughs “Don’t leave me!!” You sobbed, you got up and ran after them, you felt dizzy with fever, sweat everywhere. You try going through the doors but they had locked you out. You saw through the window, seeing them run and laugh. You bang on it. “Come back! Don’t leave me—“ You cough again.
You didn’t hesitate, and grab a chair and threw it at the window, you heard running footsteps from a few floors above you, whatever it was, it’s coming after you. The window was shattered and you immediately climb out. Falling over, getting a few cuts on you. You whimper in pain but immediately snapped out of it and ran out of the temple.
You ran and ran, you didn’t know where you were going, and worse a snow storm was going on so all of the footprints you guys left behind was now buried within the snow, expecting you to remember your steps by memory. You cling on to your scarf, as you walked heavy. You cry into it, they left you. They actually left you.
You lost yourself, having no way back to the village. No way back to a warm room. You looked behind you to see the temple was now out of view, you study your surroundings, in a steep hills, large trees, an owl staring down at you. You gasp for air, the cold winds poisoning your lungs, you cough as you try gasping for air. The fever forcing your body in your knees before your whole body on the ground.
You pulled out your phone, no signal to call for help. You’re gonna die.. this is your ending, this was probably the worst way to die, something that is completely avoidable. Your friends themselves are death.. your eyes blur with tears as you sob silently, you open your camera, the tears on your cheeks started to froze. You took a picture.
The deer jumps in fear as it was flash with a light of your phone, it ran away along with its friend. You were hoping it’ll come to you and at least give you some bodily warmth. You gasp for air, your nose from both nostrils were blocked. Your lips dry and slightly purple, you were losing body heat, your oxygen, and your consciousness..
Your phone was still opened to the camera, your eyes slowly closing, the area getting darker within the night. You body weakened, and your passed out. Your thumb pressing on the camera click, before it dies.
Suguru just return from the abandoned temple, holding the spherical orb in his arm, a grade 3 curse he exorcised. He didn’t get a chance to eat it yet since you discovered your unconscious body.
He thought. Looking you unconscious, a faint pulse too. You were at the edge of death. He will leave you, he could. But something about you, you were like a blank piece of paper he found in a pile of messy colored ones in a children’s playroom. He walks closer to you, he looked back at the orb. He sighs and swallows it quickly, before grabbing you, you were almost buried within the snow. You let out a small whine, as if you’re still telling him unconsciously that you’re still alive.
He hums as he carried you back to his temple. His black hair warming up your face, you let out a sigh as you cuddled up against his chest, trying to take every single warmth from his body, his large hand supported your shoulder and his arms supported your head, he carried you through the storm with no issue. Might as well think of something to make you useful.
You expected to be in the afterlife, your dead cat guiding you towards it. But no, when you open your eyes you woke up in a shikibuton, and a clean kimono. With multiple people staring down at you. You gasp and immediately sat up. But the young man strong hands pushes you and gently back down.
“さあさあ、元気になりたくないんだよね。医師を呼びました。” He said, his long black hair curtaining around you. You knew some Japanese, but only reading.. you had no idea what this buddhist priest was saying to you. Weren’t they supposed to be bald?
He noticed your confusion, language barrier. You looked at the others, a young woman with pink hair, twin girls, and you can’t make out the rest. One brunette twin speaks up. “Do you speak any Japanese?” She had a thick Japanese accent. They looked back at you, they expected you to answer.
You nodded your head no. The black hair smiled. “それで全く問題ありません— I speak fluently. No trouble at all.” He said, switching to another language so professional. He turn his attention to the rest of them. “放っておいて、彼女とは一人で話したいんだ。” He said to them. They bowed and left the room.
You stare at the man, your body still, you couldn’t move it, the fever was still there. Haunting you and making sure you don’t do anything stupid like going out during a winter storm again. “Now, either you are really stupid or you have a good reason.” He said.
“Oh.” His eyebrows raised. “How rude of me, I didn’t introduce myself yet. I’m Suguru Geto, I’m the leader of the star group.” He said. “Star group? I thought you were Buddhist.” You muttered weakly, he laughs at your comment as if it was a joke.
“A Buddhist? Oh my! That’s a bit racist assuming that all Japanese people are Buddhist.” He said, humming. “What…! No— it’s just—“ You cough as you try to explain yourself. He gently patted your back as he help you sat up. “Now now, I was only joking. No need to get so defensive.” He smiles.
”Since I’ve already introduced myself. May I know why you were unconscious in a middle of a snow storm?” He asked, your weak body lead on him. You frown. “Oh.” You muttered. “My friends and I went to go explored an abandoned temple. We heard some woman’s cries and got scared.. then..” You held back tears.
“The one of my friends pushed me, as if I’m a bait and ran out. They locked me in, and ran without looking back..” You started to tear up, your voice shaking. You looked down at his robes, too embarrassed to look up at his gaze. “They left me for who knows what, and I managed to break free from throwing a chair through the window. I got lost due to the storm covering my previous footsteps. Losing my way.” You explained.
“I passed out in the middle of nowhere..” You finished the story. You wiped your tears. He hums. His grip around you tightened. “Hmmm. I see. Now those friends really don’t sound like friends.” He said. “Monkeys..” He muttered to himself.
“What they did was basically illegal, they could get in a huge trouble with it. If the police finds out you were sick that’s least 10 years in prison for near man slaughter.” He explained. “Though it’s all alright, you were lucky I was coming from that temple, I found on you on my way back to mine.”
“Yeah…” You muttered. “Did you hear the crying wails coming from the temple??” You asked, clinging on to his ropes looking at him. “Of course I did, what you and those monkeys heard was a curse.” He explained. “Don’t worried. I got rid of it.” He said. “Well, control it at least.” He said, he was caressing your back gently but he did hand tight grip around your waist.
You jumped and cling on to him. “Come in.” He said. The doors open and the pink hair girl enters. “ゲト師匠、医師が来ました。” She said. He nodded and signal the doctor in. You clung on to Suguru as a short, old man with weird classes enter the room. “Don’t be so frightened, he’s here to check on you.” He said to you gently.
Just a ten minute check up, putting a stick to your nose wasn’t too great. Made your eyes heavy.
“I’ve came back from the results, it seems she has the flu. But everyone here is immune to it. Your monkey here isn’t used to the bacteria and germs here unlike her home country. A simple cold we have but a sinus infection with the flu. I’ll hang over some antibiotics with the sinus infection. But let the flu pass by, we can only treat its symptoms after all.” The doctor said, packing his things.
“Thank so much Doctor.” Suguru said with a smile, the doctor stood up and as he did Suguru removed the curse from the doctor’s shoulders. You didn’t see it of course, only the doctor getting a better posture afterwards. You hear the doctor leave and you once left alone with him.
“Once I’m better, are you gonna send me home?” You asked, but Suguru didn’t move a muscle. He stood still, you didn’t see his expression only his back. He didn’t answer you and left the room.
“Mr. Geto..!” You call out but he completely ignored you. You huff, you laid back down, covered yourself with the blanket and went back to sleep.
You were awake by someone shaking your shoulder, Suguru sitting beside you, you sat up. He touched your forehead and check for your temperature, still a fever but it wasn’t at bad as before. “Come I want to show you something.” He said, he stood up, offering a hand. You took it, they were rough and hard.
He helped you up, and he didn’t let go of your hand. He guide you outside his temple, it was stone on the grounds, carefully crafted. Leading to stairs below. It was somewhat beautiful, and dark. “You don’t see anything? Don’t you?” He asked. You nodded your head no.
“I thought so, you see what I find tolerable about you is that you remind me a lot like a deer. Those innocent creatures get killed for a living, and you were nearly kill by a joke.” He said, you frown. “They died from gunshots but my dear you died from frostbites. Those monkeys left you for the dead. Who knew people will kill their own kind.” He hums, his hands in his robes as the two of you looked up at the night sky.
“But my monkey. It’s not only your kind who wants you dead.” He added, he pulls out a pair of glasses and put them over your face. The empty space in front of you, now was an incredibly tall man, sitting, waiting for a deer to kill. You squeal in horror and immediately take off the glasses. Clinging on to Suguru.
He laughs at your fear. “Oh my, you didn’t like that did you? It’s alright, I have this guy under my control. He obeys me, he won’t lay a finger on you.” He said, “What is that? A monster??” You whimpered. “Something like that yes, he’s a curse, formed and developed by human emotions. You guys create them, it really depends. If a person dies, a negative emotion in one place for so long or curses upon another.” He explains, poking your nose.
“Like that woman you heard, and the photograph as well. She was an actress during the war, but unfortunately her fame and fortune didn’t bring her mercy when fate decided to turn her back on her. She was executed along with your family towards the end of the war. Her family was able to rest but her, since the amount of negative energy she had before her death. Making it curse energy, then to a grade 3 curse.” He said.
“Unfortunately people don’t die peacefully and because of that they create curses, dangerous ones. So now people like me and other sorcerers have to pick up the mess they created. But not you,” He turn to you. “Never you, when I find you the edge of death. You didn’t have a hint of negative energy, that’s what impressed me. That’s what fascinated me, after the fact those things left you for the dead. You seem to be ready for a peaceful death.” He said.
“It seems so, I’m the type to accept what life throws at me. No matter if it’s good or not. That’s what made me a positive person, or nice.” You said, looking down at your socks you were wearing. He lets out a sigh, the cold air revealing his breath.
“Someone like you doesn’t belong in a world full with negativity.” He said, he looked up at the stars above him. “I belong somewhere, just because a group doesn’t accept doesn’t mean they’re the only ones I have left. I belong with my parents.” You mutters, playing with the sleeve of the dark kimono.
“You seem to be close with your parents.” He said, looking over you. “I am. Are you?” You asked turning your head to meet his. His eyes darkened and he turned back around.
“I-I feel awful..! She still hasn’t return! I called her 627 times!” Harper cries, a police officer took notes. It’s been two days since they left you, and they very much did expected you return, be behind them. But waiting for you turn into minutes, hours to days. They knew something was terribly wrong.
“She was sick and Mark thought it’ll be funny to leave her in the temple!” Lucas recalled, Mark turn pale. “He lies! It was everyone’s idea! Harper said she wished she’ll disappear!” Mark cry out. The police froze so did the translator.
“私たちには容疑者がいます。” The translator said to the police officer. Four policemen came and started to arrested them. “あなたは殺人未遂で逮捕されています.” He said, there were confused but they need what the handcuffs mean.
“We can’t find your friend, and since you mentioned she was ill and you still left her alone, that’s a very serious charge and on top of that. Miss Harper said she wanted her gone, so this was plan. This could be first degree murder.” The translator said, she crosses her arms.
“What!? I need to speak to my parents—!” Jade started to cry, as the policeman pull them in the car.
Everyone around them gave them dirty and disgusted looks, what kind of person will do that to a friend? They will.
“Where’s my phone..?” You muttered as you looked around your room. You were clinging on to it when you were at the edge of death in the hills, could it be in your winter coat pocket?
You checked, touched all the pockets you could. No, no phone. Maybe Mr. Geto knows where it is, after all he’s the one who took you in. You stood up, dust off your kimono, a new one he gave you this morning before heading out to find him.
“Mr. Geto!” You called out, you step outside, freezing, but for some apparent he should be here, doing his thing. But he wasn’t. You looked back at the outside. The pretty stones, the stairs below. Maybe, since this seems like a public area. Maybe there’s even a village down there. With a working telephone, you just need a way to contact your parents.. it’s likely that your ex friends or staff had reported you missing. You hated the idea of your parents being worried sick about you.
So you took one step but when you were about to leave the temple, a strong hand stopped you and you turn to see, Mr. Geto. “Mr. Geto—“ you were cut off, he didn’t looked too happy. “What on earth do you think you’re doing running away like a monkey?” He hissed. You paused, sightly off guard by his behavior. “I was thinking there was a village down there, and I could ask for help.” You muttered.
“Help? For what? You don’t need help, you’re safe, you’re underneath a roof, you’re fed and clean clothes. What help could you possibly need?” He turn his head sideways. “My parents.. I need to contact my parents.” You said, his face only darkened. “Oh dear.” He said, immediately changing the subject.
“You stink like a monkey.” He said, he back off. You pout. “You have no fever, so let’s get you bathe yes?” He said.
You didn’t understand why Mr. Geto bathe with you. Your back press against his hard chest. Every time you try speaking about your parents he will always pour water onto you. So you stopped asking for now.
“Isn’t this so lovely monkey?” He hums, as he aggressively washes your hair. “I have a name—“ You were cut off when he pour water onto you again. “You have such beautiful and precious hair, such a shame it’s not as beautiful as mine.” He said, finally massaging your ends gently.
You put your head down to your knees, as you listen to him yap. “Oh! That reminds me, you need to take your antibiotics after this, though the doctor said you have to have food in your stomach before taking it.” He said. You were hugging yourself trying to keep a respectful distance.
He pulls you close, you bit on your nails when you felt his manhood pressing against your lower back. You flushed red, his arm wrapped around your shoulders. He whispered to you; “I don’t like it when you speak about your parents, or anyone at the matter.” He says.
“It hurts my feelings, it hurts my feelings that you wanna leave me. Out of all the monkeys you’re my favorite one.” He said, you turn over shoulder to meet his gaze. “My it’ll be such a shame if they never find you.” He said, forcing your body to nearly go underneath the water. You squirm.
He was trying to drown you—you struggle, water getting everywhere. You let out a panic scream, he laugh and immediately pulls you back up. “I was only joking monkey.” He wipes a tear from his face from the laughter. You didn’t find it funny, you cling on to your legs, and started to cry.
“Oh..” He said, as your shoulder shake with every sob. He sighs as if your crying annoyed him and you had no reason to cry.
The sad emotion you were feeling not a hint of negativity was coming out of you, that just proven his point. He convinced himself that you’re not worthy to go back. Not when you haven’t been colored on. Ruined on.
“Well I believe we’re done.” He said, he gets up from the bathtub. You refused to look over your shoulder, but the mirror had other plans, your head was covering his crotch but you could see his torso and strong thighs. You would’ve have immediately blushed, but you were too busy crying. This guy nearly killed you.
Soap and water was dripping down his incredible nice body, you looked away from the mirror as he step out, grabbing a robe and wrapping it around his waist. He grabs a towel for you. “Come on, get out. I promise I won’t look.” He hums, a friendly smile on his face though his eyes said otherwise.
You wiped your tears and stood up from the water. He wrapped the towel around your body, his strong hand grab your waist and picked you up.
Within that hour it was already dark. Suguru aggressively dried your hair with the towel, he fed you, shove the medicine in your mouth and dress you into a warm kimono. You brushed your teeth, used the bathroom, and he put some medicine cream to help you stop coughing. He lay you down, tuck you in the blanket and pressing a kiss on his hand before placing it on your cheek.
“I’ve already prepared the steam on, you should be sleeping good okay?” He hums, you nodded, your eyes getting heavy. “Sweet dreams.” He says gently, you saw him slowly slide the door close. You didn’t see it but he had a darkened expression as he close it before you didn’t see his frame at all.
You heard his footsteps away from the door, you turn a bit, taking a deep breath before closing your eyes.
His eyes snapped open from sleep when he heard something struggling, was it some curse? No. It was your breathing. It sounded broken? You were struggling to breathe. He immediately got up and hurried to your room.
He opened the door to see you asleep but struggling to breathe. It sounded like you had lung cancer, your lips sightly purple due to the lack of oxygen, he shake you awake. “Argh..” You whine, when you did. You felt mucus coming up your throat and nose.
You spit it out on a tissue as he pat your back. “There, there.” He said, as you coughed out all the mucus out. “You’re lucky it didn’t get into your stomach.” He said, he pours a glass of water. “Here,” he gives it to you. You took a sip.
“Yuck! Why does it taste like that?” You muttered. “It’s the sinus, you have so much congestion everything including water tastes disgusting.” He said, he slowly pushes you down to the bed. “Go back to sleep, your body needs rest.” He said, you cuddled against the warm blankets, getting more comfortable.
Though Mr. Geto wasn’t heading back to his chamber, he gets underneath the sheets with you, you looked over your shoulder when he does. “I don’t wanna keep moving back and forth, it’ll be easier for me to stay here.” He explained. You turn back around, you let out a whimper when he massaged the back of your neck, relaxing you to the point of sleep.
“友人たちに丘で見捨てられた後に姿を消した行方不明の観光客に関する報告は、全国に衝撃を与えました。彼女を置き去りにした友人たちに対する憎しみと怒りも同様です。そのグループは、第一級殺人と遺棄という二つの罪で起訴されています。” The new lady explained, the news of your disappearance and ruled death was all over the news. Your parents were in the country, crying, begging for the cops to look again.
You didn’t know of course, Suguru had your phone and you had no idea what he did with it, and he doesn’t allowed you to watch the tv or any where near what’s happening in the outside world. He said it’ll poison your mind and make everything too stressful, he doesn’t wanna you to be worried while ill. His kindness is very much appreciated but his controlling nature isn’t.
During dinner, you stare at your rice and vegetables. You didn’t have your normal appetite yet so you were slowly going back to normal with meals. You were hungry but your mind was on something else. Suguru noticed your behavior. He handed you a piece of meat, smiling at you. “There, it has no strong ingredients for my sensitive monkey. Go on eat.” He said.
“Do..” You pause still staring you your food. “Do you think my parents are here? In the country?” You mutter, his chopstick stopped mid air. His eyes turn to you, his mouth still open before placing the sticks down and closing his mouth. You had his full attention.
“Didn’t I said I don’t like you speaking about your parents?” He said sharply, it was more like a warning rather than a question. “I-I know.. but I can’t just overstay… I’ll get deported or something.” You said. “Deported? They really can’t send back a missing corpse can they?” He said, you froze. Looking at him, his expression didn’t change a bit. Though he grew softer, not generally more like fake sympathy.
“Oops, my words spilled out, I’m sorry you had to find out this way. They declared you dead after a week, there’s no way in hell a sick person will survived in -13 snow storms. It’s basic science really.” He said, being the sticks to his mouth. “What..? No, you should tell them that I’m still alive..! I wanna see my parents again..! I need them go know I’m still alive!” You started to tear up.
“I’ve already told you, did you think I was joking back then when I said you don’t need help from there? You’re fed, bathe, given fresh clean clothes and place to sleep. Not to mention very strong sorcerers to keep your monkey self in order—“ He was cut off.
“No!” You cried out, his face darkened. “No?” He repeated. “I said no! I appreciate and very grateful for your hospitality but I can’t just stay here. I don’t belong here, we both know that. You said it yourself I don’t belong anywhere!” You cried.
“Don’t twist my words you monkey. I didn’t said you belong nowhere, I said you didn’t belong with them, that’s completely different from what you were saying.” He hisses, playing with his hair while doing so. “You know when I was younger, I had two friends who I thought I belong with, until I realized after a few incidents that I didn’t belong with them, they didn’t see things the way I see things.”
“My closest friend said I was crazy and I wanted the impossible. When he said those words I realized he was trying to twist my plans, he was in my way.” He stood up from the table. “Everyone was in my way, though there was one friend who wasn’t exactly stopping me though she wasn’t supporting me. But it’s not about me. It’s about you.”
“Look at me {name} do I look like someone who will lied to you?” He asked, placing his hand to his chest.
“Wow, zero hesitation too.” He muttered, he laughed.
“Maybe your friends were right. You do want the impossible—“
Your hand press against the cheek he slapped you in. “You know, I was planning to wait until you were willing to fully submit to me. Guess I have to do it the hard way. I lost my appetite, let’s make dinner go faster.” He said, grabbing your wrist and pulling you, dragging you out of the room.
You squirm, your nails clawing on the wood floor as you kicked and screamed. Suguru had a smile on his face as his hands ruffled with your clothes, getting underneath your kimono. He seen to have lots of patience for your struggles.
“Now now, aren’t you monkeys usually really excited for these kind of activities? Geez such a boring monkey you are.” He said, flipping you over to your tummy. “Let’s just hope you don’t get me sick, I doubt that though. Everything..” He gasps, as his breath started to hitched.
Slide— “OW!” You cries out, as he slides in halfway your folds. He takes another deep breath and smiled. “Ahh.. ah. Gosh, you feel better then I could imagine, I have a feeling this is gonna be the time of.. Urgh.. of our lives.” He thrusts all the way, fully inside of you. A silent scream comes out of your mouth as he started to move.
