Kara believes she's the weakest person in the world instead of the strongest because she's afraid to admit her feelings for Lena. She didn't expect how much Lena would believe in her, though, or how good she is at giving motivational speeches. So good, in fact, that Kara just has to kiss her.

i thought that conversation between kara and lena at the wedding was absolutely beautiful, and the perfect chance for a confession. because, come on. we all know that the real reason kara said she was "too afraid to live her best life" is because she's scared to admit her feelings for lena.

so in this fic, kara does exactly that.

The only good thing that came from the finale is that now that Cat is back and working with Kara again she’s going to see Supercorp interacting for like 5 seconds and know they’re in love.

I'm not the most upset about the ending. Kara is going to be editor in chief of catco and cat is coming back to catco and probably went kara can't be alone without me. she got bangs. they were horrible and I begged her for months to get rid of them. what did you do to my company Andrea and lena. I was able to buy it back for a fraction of what it sold for. give it back. Kara you're helping me fix this.

monel is going back to the future and never coming back. kara gets to be herself in her career. both the nia, the trans character, and Alex and Kelly, the two interracial lesbians, got happy endings. Kara didn't end up in a relationship but like. its very instant star kind of thing where it's centers on the main character, not the romantic relationship.

honestly kara and lena need so much therapy before they ever become a couple and I want them to be together but like. 5 years in the future after many many hours of both individual and couples therapy. did I mention lots of therapy.

it's not a perfect ending by any means but you know what it could have been so much worse and this is at least an ending that can be viewed with like. contentment. if not happiness. it could have been so much worse
