I think the KND fandom needs another reminder that it's really not okay to feel attracted to Father in any way and it's incredibly disappointing that we're normalizing feeling attraction towards a character who was explicitly a child abuser and a bigot. That wasn't some sort of secret, they showed that to you in just about every single episode he appeared in. I get some of you have some personal issues and your attraction to Father is a trauma thing or whatever but the last thing you need to be doing is to be talking about it like it's a good thing. We should not be normalizing the romanticization of vile individuals, whether that be individuals who are abusive, or individuals who are bigoted. It's incredibly dangerous, both for the people who are doing this romanticization, and the people who see this romanticization and start to view these types of traits as attractive. It's especially insulting to promote this type of attraction knowing that the show was, at the very least, ATTEMPTING to denormalize abusive behavior and stigmatize the mistreatment of children.

Whether you believe it or not, romanticization of characters who mirror real life atrocities like abuse of others is an act of profiction. You are essentially saying, "well, because he's a fictional man, it won't matter that I'm ignoring all of the things that make him disgusting". And yes, yes it does matter. Because fiction affects reality, and promoting the glorification and romanticization of fictional abusers can and WILL/DOES bleed into reality and it pushes the idea that these traits are desirable, and I've met more than enough people who got into the habit of lusting for fictional abusers and inevitably got themselves trapped in a real life abusive relationship because they romanticized the red flags too much to be able to tell you that it's a real issue. If you claim you wouldn't find it acceptable IRL, you shouldn't find it acceptable in fictional form. Abuse is a real and serious subject and we don't need any more glorification of abusers to blur the line between acceptable behavior and red flags.

Father is not hot. Father is not sexy. He is not secretly a good dad to the children he kidnapped and mistreats. He is an abuser. Get it through your thick fucking skulls — and to the adults of this fandom who keep trying to justify and defend this behavior, you are bordering predatory by trying to influence vulnerable audiences into having this dangerous mentality.

If you are someone who has some baggage or some shit, please keep your attraction to abusers to yourself and please try to seek help, if possible. You are putting other people at risk by talking about your attraction, and you're putting yourself in danger by normalizing it to yourself. Stop trying to defend yourself because you don't want to admit that this is an issue. I'm tired of watching the people who try to defend their attraction get trapped in an abusive relationship with somebody who had serious red flags way before they got together that they couldn't see because they've watered down these traits in their head for the sake of attraction to some fictional abuser. It's not safe and it's a type of profiction. We've already established why profiction is so dangerous, and you don't get to make exceptions for the one thing YOU are biased towards when there's proof EVERYWHERE that the "abuser hot!" mentality for fictional characters is putting real people in danger.

For the love of god, stop clinging to this man. Go after the fucking Cat Lady or Knightbrace or something. Why must you all specifically choose the abuser who we've seen abuse children on screen multiple times? 🫩

hey guys. I wasn't going to make posts like this anymore because I've chosen not to. But this is getting serious that I thought I'd spread awareness rq.

Gill (formerly spicedwatermel0n and is known as theamericanwoodcock) is currently being harassed by a couple of "trolls" (with one of them being Tommy if you're familiar with her). All of the trolls are also Tommy's friends btw.

It started when Gill and Tommy had a small disagreement around 2 months ago, and it caused Tommy to spread misinformation about Gill because he drew body hair on aged characters, and depictions of smoking and drug use in the drawings.

And then Tommy (along with her friends) began obsessively stalking and harassing Gill. Going as far as to sending him death threats in the anon asks. see it for yourself:

Then Tommy's friends began making alt accounts and made jokes about them being victims of Gill while making jokes related to the Epstein files and specifically and always belly hair. They've done actions that is CLEARLY showing predatory behavior towards Gill.

(This user posted a post of an overweight character being slimmed down because they knew Gill had body dysphoria and is trying to make it worse for him.)

You should go check out the amercianwoodcock's account as he explained the situation clearly, and support him.

Ofc, do NOT harass the individuals shown in the screenshots. Just report them and Tommy as well and spread awareness about the situation. This whole situation is so uncomfortable and barely has attention, which is why I've posted this.

DeviantArt is the big reason why I don't accept requests anymore. I currently have one unhappy camper just cuz I told them that I don't accept requests anymore. And some weird fetish freak requesting me and everyone else in the KND fandom to draw the Sector V in beach outfits (probably mostly Numbuh 5). And BILLIONS of people begging to see if their request is done over and over and OVER. Like, sorry. But they need to be PATIENT. Random ramble, but yeah.

Art requests and trades also drain me unfortunately. I'm so ready to open art commissions once I get PayPal.
