This is what baffles me about the whole discourse surrounding this. No one ever fucking talks about who’s the one hiring. It’s like hiring is done by lottery, instead of skills and/or cost-benefit ratio by an actual PERSON (who represents the interests of the corporation).

Heres the article. Its about a janitor who took the confiscated items that were thrown away and turned it into a photography project. It says he’s keepimg them in hopes that one day theyll be housed in a museum dedicated to migration
Isn’t it obvious why they’re taking them away? It’s to demoralize them. There’s absolutely no reasonable explanation besides to hurt them. Same with taking their kids away. The US has to spend money to take care of those kids (if only basically); it would be more cost-efficient to keep them with their families. They just want to hurt them.

Reminder everybody that duckduckgo.com exists and doesn’t track you and doesn’t store your search history. This is good for counter-surveillance reasons, but it also confuses the hell out of advertisers. If you don’t like the search results you get on duckduckgo, you can always search something there and add “!g” to the end of the search and it will route the search through Google, but still will not track you. This is a really easy thing almost everybody can do to resist government surveillance and advertiser tracking.

This fucking disgusting, asshole, “unpopular” guy was Skyping with friends of mine in high school and told them he would kill himself if they didn’t show him their breasts. So they did, because young women aren’t taught that they’re not responsible for someone else’s welfare, that it’s wrong for them to be coerced at all but especially sexually, and that men won’t kill themselves over lack of boobs.
if you’re ever embarrassed or insecure about something you wanna do, like walking around with hairy legs, demanding your rights, applying for a job you don’t have full qualification, going out looking less than perfect, telling someone to fuck off and coming off rude, just remember that even the most mediocre man would have done it with zero shame, guilt or doubt, and would fight anyone who thinks he’s wrong.

Honestly, none of these are inherently immoral or wrong, except if the person you’re telling to fuck off didn’t do anything. If they’re wronging you, it really depends on your ethics, and whether you’re going to say it’s wrong unequivocally or if there’s sometimes a valid reason to do it—and that’s subjective, there’s no objective morality for that.
And I want to point out for those who don’t know—you SHOULD go for the job you’re not qualified for. They will train you. If you’re fully qualified for a job, you’re not gaining experience and they couldn’t afford what you’re worth. You just need to demonstrate that you have the ability to learn what they need you to do.
When I was a libfem I used to have huge insecurities. I hated the way I look and wanted to mutilate myself with plastic surgery the moment I turn 18.
But now that I’m a radfem, I love my body. I don’t shave, don’t wear make up, don’t wear a bra and that doesn’t make me ashamed at all. In fact, it makes me feel better. I don’t care how I look because I know my body is female and I am happy and proud of having it.

I think those are two separate things, tho. I would think that Cobain and Axl Rose were just making a joke, which is insulting, but not the same thing as transwomen really meaning it. Both are bad, but transwomen are really trying to change the meaning of the word, so that’s a bit more dangerous.

gnc/trans people who don’t feel safe using the bathroom corresponding to their sex
parents with small children of the opposite sex
people with disabilities who have a caretaker of the opposite sex
people in wheelchairs who may have trouble navigating it in the main bathroom/locker room due to tight spaces, etc
who doesn’t benefit:
people who prioritize male validation over female safety
