every signle fucking person on here: hey! i know you dont know me and we have less than zero rapport but i decided to interact with your post without engaging with your post. hope you enjoy my unrelated comments!
this is wrong
Yeah, she could’ve done this in her standard Sailor Moon form. Super form is overkill, really.
Sailor Moon is stronger than Goku. I don’t make the rules. Fight me about it.
What!? 👀
I’m on a still active forum, with a solid vs debate scene. Sailor Moon vs. the God-Emperor of Mankind from 40k is one of the most treasured threads there, as Sailor Moon trashed the guy.
19 pages straight of debate over Sailor Moon vs. God-Emperor of Mankind, in which every time a 40k fan desperately brings up a new point, it immediately gets negated by another one of Sailor Moon’s powers
sometimes it's less like there's masculine and feminine things and gender neutral things, it's more like. there's gendered things and there's ungendered things. masculine things are ungendered feminine things are gendered. masculinity is the default and femininity is the abberation, the Gendered Experience. pants are for everyone skirts are for girls. suits are for everyone dresses are for women. you know
and can we maybe think of why a lot of historical feminist pushes to make masculine things gender neutral worked and now in the current modern day nobody bats an eye if women wear pants, but men wearing feminine things is still a hot topic of debate at best and grounds for violent assault at worst? is there maybe a word for this phenomenon?
it's almost like there's. a male default. activities deemed masculine have a value considered self-evident. and also considered default experiences. a desire to participate in those is considered natural. and everything outside of that is considered "gendered" and therefore Marked, as like, lesser, unworthy,
i think the simplest example of this is things are nearly always a he at default, if it’s a fantasy creature *he’s* doing something, if it’s an inanimate object it’s often a *he* - everything must be attributed masculinity because that is a societal default and unless something explicitly preforms and acts out femininity in its entirety (and even if it does, that isn’t often enough as is the case with transmysogynists) it is a he in some way and even if *he* isn’t used it’s dude or bro or any other thing that can be dismissed as something other than male defaultism. That defaultism is a reward that can be seen when something is explained not to be a *he* when a fantasy creature is explained to be aligned with femininity or androgyny it’s no longer annoying or a fucker or anything it’s a bitch it’s a cunt it’s a whore it’s any misogynistic comment possible because the lack of maleness makes something lesser and require some kind of societal punishment
you are my coworker and to some extent my victim

BLACK CODED DUCKKKKKK
the fact the show depicts her as both a love interest, the fact she's drawn with love and black features, and the fact this show doesn't hold back with the fact that her and her family are refugees that fled from an apartheid is INSANE.

"You need to relax"
Best I can do is dissociate
I’m reading a book on biofeedback trainings right now and they talk about this. The words “try” or “need” add pressure to stuff. Sometimes switching from “I need to calm down” or “I’m trying to slow my breathing” to “I’m allowing myself to calm down a little more with each exhale” or “I’m giving myself permission to slow my breathing” can be more helpful. There’s a difference between “try to relax the muscle” and “allow the muscle to soften” that is significant enough that for some people it can totally change the outcome of a relaxation exercise.
For other tips and tricks, instead of asking “why” you can’t change a thought/feeling (why being an offensive question, meaning it forces you to respond defensively - in this case defending the emotion you don’t like) you can ask “is there any leeway or wiggle room with this feeling/thought/belief for something else?” Oftentimes we know multiple things at once, and by allowing for a small amount of ambiguity we can start to accept the situation more fully.

"merciless indian savages" is a direct quote from the US declaration of independence, and this is referencing the art of "manifest destiny" as a white woman standing over the us countryside
extremely fucking cool. this is the art that’s being referenced most directly btw:
