WAKE. UP.
Never Again is right now! Wake up and fight back!
My pop was in a concentration camp in world War two. He didn’t speak about it other than to say he was lucky he wasn’t in a Jewish camp next door. This is grosser than the word inhumane can encompass. Please don’t let these events go unnoticed.
Anyone else love swimming as a kid but then kind of lose their enthusiasm for it when puberty came along?
I’m still not sure about the wording of this post, because I still very much enjoy swimming as an activity. I love being in the water, swimming around, pretending to be a mermaid, etc. It’s just other stuff surrounding it that became somewhat uncomfortable once I reached my teens.
I bet I won’t be alone in this. Around that sort of age, new stuff happens, and you start to become aware of stuff that you didn’t really have to think about as a kid.
Most AFAB people start getting periods, so you’ve either got to schedule any swimming around that or get used to tampons
A lot of teenage girls have body image issues because of societal bullshit
Said teenage girls are also at risk of creepy men trying to sexualise them
If you’re read as female you have to choose between removing your body hair or dealing with the possibility of someone judging you and/or making rude comments about it
Many trans people have dysphoria that would be worsened by wearing a swimsuit in public
The responses on this post are making me sad. Drop an F in the chat for our uncomplicated childhood fun.
I know it’s not deep and all but don’t forget about fat people who don’t wanna get roasted and fatshamed the hell out of them and who would rather watch the Star Wars holiday special than wear a swimsuit in public.
Absolutely do not forget about fat people!
i was at the doctors today and there was a guy sitting behind me with his baby, and the baby starts crying in its pram and the guy just stands up, faces the kid and says “Come on now, don’t cry, you’re better than that”
also, someone else asked him how old his baby was and he said without even a moments hesitation, “he’s 36 he’s just got a height problem” and I’ve only just come to terms with the fact I’ll never say something that funny in my life
It high-key sounds like you stumbled in halfway through a comedy about a dude who’s friend got magicked into a baby
Cat trying to eat a pea
fuckin idiot
she’s trying her best!!
Having social anxiety and depression at the same time is weird because you’re completely fine with your death but any social interaction fills you with dread.
wow not gonna name any names but SOMEBODY (me) needs 2 calm down!!!!
Got compelled to make this, use wisely
Oh my god, savage
summer is fun and romantic in theory but for us sweaty bitches it just isn’t realistic
