''Don't shoot the Messenger'' takes place in a war ridden-world where demons and humans work side by side. Oswald ''Ozzy'' Gatwick is a dealmaker demon who has developed a unique bond with Edvin ''Eddie'' Foyle, a military messenger. Together, they're two outcasts among their own kins, as Eddie is a soldier who opposes the glorified war while Ozzy longs to be more human than demon. Ozzy is on a good path thanks to his sunshine soldier, but what happens when one day, Ozzy's client fatally shoots his Messenger?
