It's been raining almost everyday in Sweden for a month and I haven't seen the sun this whole time either. Me and the lesbian I pulled by being an alcoholic 😭 I finally got my vtuber legend replacement and the college setting makes this feel like a much gayer Hibimeshi with the focus on trying different alcohol instead of food. This show is the personification of the old adage, “drunk tongues speak sober thoughts” all you need is a little liquid courage to come to terms with your sexuality lol.

I LOVE Botan as a lead, I’m not a drinker at all, never even been drunk, but I think it’s cool to find common ground with people when you’re away from home and if alcohol is the conduit for that, more power to you. Already got a nice variety of alcohol shown in this premiere from beer to nihonshu, so I wonder if going forward we’ll get more focus on different sorts of drinks while mixing in the yuri and character development bits? It’s soigné, so I do trust them after the masterclass that was Mono.

It’s really nice to get a cast I can relate to age wise and Soigné are bringing the same quality they brought to Mono here as well which makes every scene a treat for the eyes. Such a good premiere. I’m really excited, there’s never been a better time to be a yuri fan.

If the sheer yearn in Kamiina Botan was tangible it could fuel a rocket. It could power a city. The way it hangs on specific expressions is enough to drive the viewer insane and by viewer I mean me. I feel more insane after every episode.

I remember watching the first two episodes and thinking 'oh this is fun but probably won't develop much past this' I AM SORRY I WAS UNFAMILIAR WITH YOUR GAME. THE GAY BAR SOMEHOW RAISES EVERY EPISODE.
