I quit my job today. But it's not me giving up. I'm moving on for more in my life. I've been there for about 3 years and it broke a lot of parts of me, used and disrespected. I stayed because it was all I knew, I was scared to branch off and take off to somewhere else. Like I was obligated to stay. I was scared what would happen if I left. I was so drained and used while there that I got to the point that I broke. I was angry. I was talked over and degraded. I'm glad I'm gone even as the anxiety rolls within my body. I had to leave to move forward for the better. But the uncertainty about the future scares me. The loss of weight on my shoulders and mental fatigue are being lifted every second I breath air of freedom from there, is so scary. It's new. And that doesn't mean bad. I'm experiencing life and it's hardships, I'm still just a kid and I'm learning with every step I take. I have a very supportive community around me and I'm very lucky for that. I will take time to focus on myself and my family. Hopefully I will get back into hobbies and stablizing myself.
