This is the most considerate advice for doing stretches I've ever seen??? Initially I started to go, "...but I can't do that with my knee-" then he showed a way I could do it. I was like... whoa. A video for stretching that is actually considerate towards my disabilities. Astounding and impressive.

once i lived on an island with no urgent care or doctor. there was a small hospital with an emergency room that people went to for issues you'd usually take to an urgent care facility, but it was normal and expected to go to the ER instead because if the last ferry already left for the night you couldn't get help on the mainland. usually the ER was very quiet and the few times I went there i was actually the only patient in the entire hospital.

one time i was in there with norovirus bc i got Too sick so i needed IV hydration and antiemetics. it was 2 am and i'd driven myself there which took 3 times longer than it should have because i kept having to pull over in the woods to throw up out my car door. so you can imagine the state i was in.

well i was new to the island and the doctor came in and she was like "say, aren't you the new whale curator?" (i was running a killer whale thing). i threw up into an emesis bag and then i was like "....yeah?" and she was like "are lab tours still free for locals on Sundays?" i paused to throw up again and then I was like "I don't know. I just got here" and she said "right on, right on."

I don’t want to be completely pessimistic and I wish I could find some joy in this, but the ceasefire deal isn’t something I can bring myself to be happy about. Palestine is destroyed. An estimated 300,000 people martyred and towns obliterated. And Israel faces absolutely zero consequences… I genuinely continue to be amazed at how they’re allowed to do that. If ‘Israel’ really wants a ceasefire, they need to give the Palestinians real aid. I’m not talking about bags of flour but means of rebuilding their beautiful country. They need seeds and tractors and doctors and hospitals and schools… not a tin of beans

All I mean to say is don’t forget Palestine after the ceasefire deal, because nothing has changed
