Why are people acting like Lestat willingly participating in the trial wasn’t confirmed in season 3? I guess we have double confirmation now with that Rolin Jones interview, but it was confirmed this past season.

I don't know how Lestat/Loustat fans can even be happy about tvl when they removed the reason why Lestat even started the band in the first place was because of LOVE, and instead made it to be that he was angry at Louis....Louis and Lestat will always come back to eachother because despite all the terrible things they've done to eachother their LOVE overpowers everything. So even when Lestat was mad at Louis about the book he was still worried that he would be hurt, it was LOVE, WHAT HAPPENED TO THE LOVE.

something that has particularly irked me about tvl discourse is the implication that people who disliked the way armand is characterized in the finale are just woobifiers who can’t handle that armand is evil. like, is the fact of an act being evil itself justification enough to have armand do it? is one evil act roughly equivalent to another with no accounting for temperament or motivation? are there not gradations to evil? i wonder if anyone’s ever said anything about that

rolin jones lied to everyone one last time by saying fans were allowed to beat him up at sdcc if they didn't like his adaptation of tvl and then immediately quitting and refusing to show his face at sdcc
