OK, we need to talk about the main actors first and foremost. Now I admit I'm shallower than a kid's paddling pool but god damn!!! The actors are incredibly well-casted. I remember it was about 1AM when I gave this series a crack to try and go to sleep but within the first few minutes, I was hooked and I did not put this down until I finished ALL six way-too-short episodes just after 3AM and finally got some shut eye.
You get introduced to Hira Kazunari (played by Hagiwara Riku) during the first few minutes and realize he's incredibly awkward. After watching all of this show, I'm actually thinking the character might have some slight autism but that's discussion for later. I was worried this was going to be another awkward Japanese BL drama ... until ... in walks second male lead, Kiyoi Sou (played by Yagi Yusei). To say he's breath-taking is an understatement. I mean sure, the past few posts would give you an idea of how shallow I am but Yagi Yusei is a on another level. He's not a "oh, he's so handsome!" player. This guy is on another level and really fits the character who is supposed to be this "beautiful" guy with an aura. I'm going to need to practice self-control here or I'll keep fan-girling about him for the next 100 years.

The story is very ... sweet? For some reason, it reminds me of the BL manga "Cut" but that's way darker than this series. It's about these two unlikely characters - Kiyoi is this super-cool "King" that all guys want to be and all girls want to be with. Hira on the other hand is this awkward, loser character that has no friends. For some reason, Kiyoi and Hira keep having moments together and they form this weird friend-bond. When Kiyoi smashed his lips to Hira when they graduated, I fan-girl screamed and I'm not even sorry. IT WAS WAY OVERDUE, OK.
But because Hira didn't chase after him, Kiyoi and him go their separate ways until a few years later? And throw in a third character for some drama but oh my god, is it delicious drama. Let's skip all the drama and get to the ending AND MY GOD, I SCREAMED AGAIN AT THE ENDING.
When Hira chases after Kiyoi in the darkened school hallways and room, you could see how desperate he was to reach Kiyoi. And Kiyoi saying that he's just a human being, not a God and that he loves Hira ... no amount of screaming can do justice to how climactic this was. THIS WAS WHAT I NEEDED AFTER 6 EPISODES. I FUCKING ATE EVERY SECOND OF THIS SCENE. Honestly, it was a really beautiful scene and the acting just freaking served the story.
I will be re-watching this series every day of every year until my dying breath because that is how beautiful this series was. This series just kicked me up the ass and served and just kept serving every second until the end.
I thank every being out there that there is a second series AND a movie too. I will be devouring every second of this masterpiece of a series with no regrets.
So there I am trying to level my Arcanist class to unlock Summoner / Sage (I think). The cat lady on the left has some sad background story and we're off to try and get revenge for her. Next minute, she's in a bikini! What the fuck happened?? I literally just blinked my eye and the story just went R-18 LOL

Any time somebody mentions "[...] seven years" in a relationship context, take a shot and you are guaranteed to be doing a naked pole dance within 15 minutes. OK ma'am, I understand it's now been seven years since the first series, thank you. I don't need it wood-peckered into my damn head every minute, thanks. The first few episodes was just ... WHO THE HELL WROTE THE SCRIPT JFC. It got better in the middle of the series but at the end, it was another spadeful of "[...] seven years" again.
I absolutely cannot stand Fiat. He's annoying as hell and dumb as fuck. Like boy, you got a rich kid eating out of your hands but you're whinging that nobody loves you. Please, get the fuck out of my boat right now. And trying to go after Type even though everybody is telling you he's got a man for the last SEVEN YEARS, despicable. And when it does blow up in his face, we cry to our best friend about how nobody wants him or whatever stupid problems he has. God, he irritates the FUCK out of me.
Honestly, I loved that the second season prolonged my fantasy about Tharn and Type but it's really not as satisfying as the first season. I actually loved the last episode more than I did the rest of the episodes as it was much calmer with no nonsense about "seven years" or Fiat-crap (sorry babe).
I also do love the scenes with Type's parents. The father's acceptance of Tharn after bringing in Thanya to curry favor ... love the whole domesticity of it all.
Before I forget, I absolutely adore Khunpol. At the start, I was a bit worried that he may be another annoying side character but his growth and confidence dealing with the inept Champ ... /chef's kiss. He's a cute baby and I will wrap him in my blanket to protect him forever.

I re-watched this recently and it still makes me want to strangle Lhong myself. But before I get to strangling, let's take it from the top.
The whole show in itself is an "easy" watch. There's a story, there's hot actors, there's hot scenes to satisfy every fangirl's dreams. The main actors, especially Mew who plays Tharn carries the whole damn show on his extremely broad shoulders. Keep it up, baby, you lookin' fine. I read a little more about the actor and apparently he's studying for his PhD and in this world, we love a fine mind to go along with a fine body.
I was genuinely surprised about the plot twist but also love it as it makes it unpredictable compared to other BLs I've binged on, so props to writers.
Now lets get down to the not-so-nice ... in reality, Tharn and Type's relationship can only be classified as toxic. Like Type is seriously abusive in some situations!! Example in the bathroom stall, why'd Type kick Tharn in the balls at the bar? Totally unnecessary.
Also, the whole thing about Type's r*pe situation and Tharn being all over Type at night in the earlier episode ... again ... not really the right way to go about showing our affection but alas, but here we are.
The biggest ick for me though is the whole thing about Tar and to an extent, his brother, Tum. This whole relationship needs some breaking down even further.
actor for the younger brother looks ... really young but also, the character is supposedly ... 15? Or what ... ? I don't know ...
so assuming he's 15, he's supposedly already had a full blown s*xual relationship with Tharn a year ago and broken up because of it so ... Tharn is going after young boys??? WTF. IS MY MATH NOT ADDING UP. WHAT.
after the whole hullabaloo with Tharn, older brother Tum is here to save the day. But he loves Tum more than a brother??? I'm sorry but just because this is a BL show doesn't mean every single character including brothers have to be gay! PLEASE.
So aside from the incestuous stuff, don't think too much of it, concentrate on Tharn's fine actor and we're good.

God, this story made me beg, on my knees, for more! MORE! But alas, we only have three chapters of this beauty and you bet I savored every panel, every page, every chapter of this story knowing how short it was.
It did take me a few seconds to adjust to the drawing style as it's very different than the last few I've been reading. But honestly, it's just as beautiful as all the rest that I read.
This is about Eunhyuk (not from Super Junior, that's for sure) and Joonyoung. Something happened on Christmas Day (?) quite a number of years ago and the step-brothers lost contact with each other. Rich seme Eunhyuk searched for Joonyoung and finally found the bastard him working as a concierge at a hotel. Of course the rich guy checks himself into this exact hotel and specifically requests Joonyoung to be his personal concierge. We all know what comes next ... yes, that's right. A little drizzle of plot, a little sprinkle of seduction and we end up with some hot smex to conclude this story.
Am I complaining? Fuck yes cause it's so short and I'm needing to re-read this story cause it's so damn good, it freaking hurts. Hurt me more, baby.
+ very beautifully-drawn characters with plot (the side-story was more riveting than the main, frankly)

- hard to distinguish the characters sometimes as some look the same

This webtoon was an easy read and nothing really stands out from the yaoi-binge I've been on except the fact that it's set in the K-pop industry. That change in premise was a nice difference.
The main couple, Dojin and Yuwon are your typical BL couple who found love in each other (while being in the same group, Insecret) and lived happily ever after. Nothing much to really write about.
The side-story ... now that one is a bit more interesting. It's about another two members from the same group, Jihyuk and Dawol. In some panels, I could not tell if it was Dawol or Yuwon as they look so similar, especially when they color Yuwon's hair purple.
So anyway, the side story is set a few years after the main story and Dawol looks at Jihyuk like a little brother. Jihyuk just came out of military and oh dear, Dawol seems pretty serious about a girl. Lots of beautiful panels to clear that situation up and some hot smex thrown in there ... I will never say no to hot smex scenes. Boom, another happily ever after.
All in all, as I said, very typical BL story and not much that I remembered about this one. I'd say this story didn't make me sweat nor did it leave me unfulfilled, take that however you want. Perhaps next time I need to type some quick bullet points so that I can type something up here about it ...

I have never heard of someone getting so drunk they couldn't find their face and I cackled like the wicked witch from the west when I read that the first time. Maybe if I did get so drunk, I would have a hot dude by my side cleaning up after my sorry drunk ass.

I'll go ahead and get my shallowness out of the way. The main character AKA Keith (and a few others like the doctor and Dane) are just so incredibly well-drawn. If I had the skills to draw like that, I'd be plastering my room with just those drawings.
Seriously, why does the character have to be drawn so damn fine. Those purple eyes too ... yeap, I'm reeled in hook, line and sinker. I need a few minutes more (or years, time permitting) to absorb everything.
Now that I'm back in reality, let's talk about something other than how fine these characters are. I don't tend to enjoy omegaverse in manhwas but I'd say this is a good introduction to it - if you accept the premise of toxicity in this relationship. I appreciate that the uke doesn't just bend over backwards and take everything up the a$$ (pun slightly intended) in the later chapters. He does start off annoying me as he's pining after Keith for X amount of years, I'm guessing. The boy did redeem himself later in the chapters, I'm all here for #OMEGAPOWER.
The side stories include their son which is weird considering that the end of the main story didn't really show his pregnant belly even though he's supposed to be pregnant (and a bit further along than just ~1 week post-conception).

During the three sermons speeches, this pretty boy and his identical twin sister were there, creeping around me and giving their unrequested opinions on the different styles of the leaders (and their free company ... kind of like WoW's tribe reputation thing).
This is the sister, looks exactly the same as the brother in the background. Only difference was maybe their hair tie color. Took this genius a while to figure that out.
But ... my pride and joy! My main goal for today was just get the damn mount cause my legs are damn tired of running everywhere. And what do I do as soon as I get this? Pay for a Chocobo ride to Moraby docks cause I cannot be bothered controlling my own ride there.
I was walking past Gridania minding my own business when I came across this band of musicians. They were playing the Star Wars theme song when I came across them, magical.
Wasted some time with a few side-quests earlier in the day but back on track this evening with main quests. I'm trying really hard to understand the plot but conversations like this with weird English ... gives me headache.
I need a list to keep track of the random characters flitting in and out of cutscenes too. Lord help me.
Sun Yool, a city boy retreats to the countryside to find himself take care of his grandfather's residence while he's in hospital. There, he meets 20-year-old Yechan who absolutely loves farming. And in this small farming area, love blooms between these two. Aww ♥.
Review:
Let's make this very clear from the start that this little story makes your Kit Kat™ chocolate bars taste blander than desert sand. You can get diabetes once you finish this webtoon and you'll have no regrets. There is no headache-inducing rage over love-triangles or very long and messy ex-boyfriend arcs at every corner and I appreciate it. It focuses on Sun Yool sorting out and recovering from his previous relationship which was, let's face facts here, toxic AF. That's cleared out pretty early on in the story and then focuses on the affection that big bear Yechan has for him and the slow reciprocation of it. Yechan ... he's about as subtle as a bull bear in a china shop and we all love him dearly for it. His whole family is, after all, the bear family:
There’s a lot of beautiful and cute panels in each chapter to scratch all itches. I myself fell in love with Sun Yool. I swear they must have based him on a K-Pop male idol as he exudes cool. I’d pay Sun Yool for lessons on that if he was real ... alas, he’s not. My loss.
Yechan on the other hand, as I said, not quite there on subtlety. Reminds me of myself, actually. He is such a sweet character and the difference between the two main characters can be summarized as:
In terms of hot, steamy, smexy scenes ... this won’t be the one. It’s not a Swolemates “Bam! Here’s the a$$ and bam!!! Here’s the d!ck!”. However, smex is implied and you do see the lead-up riiiight to it and the room ... so don’t be reading this in broad daylight where people can peer right over your shoulders. And I think given how sweet this story is, I like that the smut was cut right back. The author / artist understood that I didn’t need smut for this one to enjoy it.
