I'm currently a full-time undergraduate student pursuing a bachelor's in biomedical science. After I'll be shooting to enter a pharmacology Ph.D program.
Politics
Some may not appreciate this section. however, politics is all around us. It affects everything. Therefore, I have this section.
Capitalism is an inherently oppressive system that requires inequality to survive (namely classism and its cohabiting aids, like racism). It relies on imperialism and the exploitation of other countries to continue selling its narrative of success.
Any form of law enforcement or government agency (Police, ICE, FBI, ect) Only serves the ruling class and capital. Rehabilitation and prevention are the only humane ways of handling crime.
Borders are a ridiculous concept of human origin. Most land is stolen in the present, and no human is "illegal" on that land.
Binary gender and sex, race, and many more things are societal concepts to cut out the very real nuance of the human experience. Typically, they are insisted upon for social control and cohesion.
Neopronouns and genders are awesome. Use whatever words and labels feel right to you. I don't judge others for how they communicate their lived experiences.
In our current climate of global politics, intervention is only nice in theory. No, especially western, country is trustworthy enough for ethical intervention.
Closing political statement: I am for the rights of the working class and exploited and/or marginalized individuals. I do not describe myself with "left/right" labels but acknowledge I'm consider far left by USA standards.
