Who do you think is richer Dovey or Lesso? In universe and in a modern au maybe?

Hmm, honestly, I can see both sides!

In a modern AU, I can totally imagine Lesso as the black sheep of an old-money family who ditched the family expectations to live on her own terms, maybe teaching literature at some prestigious university or running a little independent bookstore somewhere cozy. There’s a quiet richness there, but one that’s less about luxury and more about freedom.

On the other hand, Dovey feels like she’d come from a very wealthy, maybe even authoritarian family, the kind that looks perfect from the outside but suffocates you with expectations. That kind of upbringing could explain a lot about her emotional restraint and her obsession with doing things “the right way.”

Both backgrounds have such interesting nuances to explore.

As for canon, that’s trickier. I’d say Dovey is probably technically richer, considering all the privileges that come with being an Ever. But Lesso gives off major “I manage my money better” energy. They both dress impeccably, though, so wealth definitely shows up differently in each of them.

Do you have any current wips you wanna tell people about?

Hey, thanks for asking! Honestly, I’m not really working on any fics or writing right now, my life has been kind of a chaos! Anything I start lately usually ends up unfinished after just a couple of pages, so there’s not much to share.

I’ve tried to sit down and write a few times, but somehow I either lose motivation or get distracted by a hundred other things. It’s frustrating sometimes, but I’m hoping I’ll find my rhythm again soon and actually finish something. For now, I’m just enjoying reading, especially your fics, which are always so detailed and amazing and really make me want to write, and thinking about ideas.

If one were to write an urban fantasy story for dovesso, what type of characters would they be? Would one of them be a vampire hunter? A witch? A normal person?

Sorry for the super late reply, I hadn’t been around here much! I honestly kinda forgot the ask feature existed, so whenever I opened the app I didn’t even check it, lol.

Honestly, I love vampire Lesso, so if Dovesso were in an urban fantasy, that’s exactly how I’d picture it. Dovey would be part of the magical world but working for some government department that tries to keep magic and supernatural beings hidden from humans. Lesso, of course, wouldn’t care about any of that, so Dovey would probably be sent to deal with the vampire who’s been getting a little too much human attention. You can imagine how well that would go.

Well, I'm a bit basic but I think that Dovey would find and adopt a cute little kitten...

And then Lesso would be really grumpy about it but the kitten would adore her and eventually bond <33

As for the name... well, there's a bit of a disagreement. I think Clarissa wants to name her Sugarplum and Lesso wants to name her Animosity and they have not yet come to an agreement...
