Enjoy the real flavors of falafel in the form of a burger! These falafel burgers are vegan, gluten-free, and full of fresh herbs and spices. They are a tasty and healthy choice for any meal. They make a great meal when served with crispy fries and your favorite toppings.
Ingredients: 2 cups canned chickpeas, drained and rinsed. 1/2 cup chopped fresh cilantro. 1/2 cup chopped fresh parsley. 1/4 cup diced red onion. 3 cloves garlic, minced. 2 tablespoons ground flaxseed mixed with 6 tablespoons water as egg replacement. 1 teaspoon ground cumin. 1 teaspoon ground coriander. 1/2 teaspoon paprika. Salt and pepper to taste. 1/2 cup gluten-free breadcrumbs. 4 gluten-free burger buns. Lettuce leaves. Tomato slices. Red onion rings. Vegan tzatziki sauce.
Instructions: Put chickpeas, cilantro, parsley, red onion, and garlic in a food processor and blend them together. Pulse the ingredients together until they are broken up but not smooth. Mix the flaxseeds with the other ingredients in a bowl. Add salt, pepper, cumin, coriander, and ground cumin. Combine well. Add the gluten-free breadcrumbs and mix them in until the dough stays together. You can add some water if it's too dry. Separate the meat into four patties and set them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Put in the fridge for 30 minutes to get firm. Warm up your grill or grill pan on the stove by setting it on medium-high heat. Place the patties on the grill and brush them with some oil. Cook them for four to five minutes on each side, or until they have grill marks and are hot all the way through. For a minute or two, toast the gluten-free burger buns on the grill until they get a little brown. Put a lettuce leaf on the bottom bun and then a falafel patty on top of it to make the burgers. Vegan tzatziki sauce, red onion rings, and tomato slices should be put on top. After you put the top bun on top, your falafel burger is ready to be served.
