Are we calling women who read shitty harlequin romance novels porn addicts now?
If you read one paragraph of vintage victorian smut you'd hurl.
God forbid women read a lame book with sex
people have been writing fucked up erotica for hundreds of years. of all porn consumption habits to label as an addiction i think reading erotica books is like.. one of the least applicable examples and written erotica is one of the least exploitative forms of porn out there. stop pathologizing things that give you ick, you're allowed to just say you dislike something
again I must stress that ten or more years ago mormon leaders put out a statement that reading romance novels was equivalent to porn addiction and both would send you to hell
you guys are not progressive you're just mormons in disguise
happy pride I'm glad I'm gay I'm glad you're gay I'm glad we're both gay and alive
JUNE THE THIRD, AN EXCELLENT DAY!
People who have a pervasive shit attitude toward everything are extremely exhausting to be around. No, this doesn't make you a bad person for having trauma or depression. You're allowed to go through hard times and lean on others for support. But there is a point where being negative and spiteful about things all the time is not only self-defeating but harmful to your relationships. There is a meaningful difference between talking about your struggles vs. almost pointedly refusing to engage with opportunities for positive experiences/emotions. The latter becomes contagious and fatiguing for people around you, because you're essentially expecting them to dig themselves into a hole, too. It can even start to feel like you're punishing others for enjoying things if you're not happy. And it's wrong.
Like my mother will often respond to a comment that's positive or happy by talking about how she's unhappy, upset, or angry about things, and she does it with a spiteful "good for you" tone. Absolutely nothing I say will get her to acknowledge that she's still being shown support and caring even if people aren't willing to be miserable with her all the time. It's a very unhealthy and emotionally immature trait. If this is you, I strongly suggest that you look at ways to improve your distress tolerance and consider the emotional impact you have on others. It is NOT others' job to regulate your emotions or fix all of the wrongs in your life for you. Other people's happiness or attempts at happiness aren't a betrayal.
The bottom line is that it does actually matter how you frame things, sometimes. A lot of the time. Are you committed to being miserable because you take some form of satisfaction in it, and is that maybe preventing you from being healthier and happier?

This teensy creature was discovered along a deep-sea mountain
It's like they found a new Pokémon. :)
(RTE.ie has video of the find, here:)
On the ocean floor near the Galapagos Islands, a submersible controlled by scientists came across a mysterious octopus as blue as the ocean
Steve Roth was responding to the announcement by New Yorkâs mayor of tax on second homes worth more than $5m
The world is being destroyed by the dumbest motherfuckers ever to suck air.
Again, I reiterate: Taxing the rich is the moderate position. These people should be happy to pay increased taxes. They don't have strong enough bunkers to guard against the extreme position.

I just googled this and⊠yes, itâs absolutely real.
And there are so many articles and videos and discussions. Like, the scientific community is buzzing about this.
So much research will have to be redone because the data was absolutely compromised, off by orders of magnitude, by using standard lab gloves.
The world is probably not horrifically contaminated by microplastics. Sterile laboratories, however, are contaminated by latex and nitrile gloves.
Thank God someone bothered to check.
>I just googled this and⊠yes, itâs absolutely real.
Sources beyond dude just trust me, for the skeptics.
Scientists may have been unknowingly inflating microplastics pollution estimates, and the surprising source could be their own lab gloves. A

In Man Trap Sulu has a pet plant that is just a hand with a glove. I love Star Trek.

In an access of wild creativity, I wound up calling it âMr. Suluâs Hand Plant.â đ€Ł
thought about tomodachi life too hard and realized that people being shocked by the lack of filters in a single-player game they own with their own money is actually cartoonishly messed up. we've grown so used to everything being filtered and not being able to do anything even remotely un-family-friendly in single-player games that bring able to make the miis say fuck is a monumental occasion. insane.
Your best is not the same as your 100%. It's okay to give as much as you CAN not as much as is humanly possible. Giving 100% all the time just leads to burn out.
