quirky fourth wall breaking character but theyre just fucking. wrong about the medium theyre in. they keep making references to cinematic techniques and directorial styles and the other fourth wall breaking character is like "dumbass we're in a fucking comic book" and they are in a video game.
Well currently they’re in a tumblr post but I see your point
we're actually in a youtube video if this turns out to be funny enough
I think it is so funny that the blurb of Platform Decay has Murderbot making a point to imply that it doesn't like kids.
Meanwhile Murderbot's actual interactions with children throughout the books:
(Not pictured is Sofi spamming her best friend Secunit with heart emojis or it carrying Tula around because she feels safe with it or Amena calling it Mom)
You are good with kids!! You are a person who likes kids!!! Would it kill you to say it? There's no shame in saying it.
"I Love Kids, Secunit! I Love KIIIIIIDS"

Good movies have 4.1 stars on letterboxd. Great movies have 3.4 stars on letterboxd. Unfortunately mid movies also have 3.4 stars on letterboxd so its hard to tell till you watch them.
based off this post
and obviously with animorphs theres no moral simplicity like this but i just want rachel and cassie to date.
basketball dracula isn't real dude he can't-- *sudden squeaking noises from the shadows*
*two pool toys having sex tumble by in the wind* oh thank god

I think one of the funniest abortion stances I've heard was from my parents neighbor. He's a like, hard-core libertarian viking larper guy who is very tall and very fat and very bald.
He believes a fetus is human with a soul, but also its "basically attacking the woman's body" so if she wants to get rid of it, that's "basically self-defense". He compared it to shooting a home invader. So he supports abortion not as healthcare, but as killing a baby in self-defense
Y'know I'm so glad someone reminded me of this. Because this was also discussed.
My stepmother did NOT like the way her Libertarian Viking Neighbor framed pregnancy as the fetus "attacking the woman". She incredulously told him this was extremely disrespectful to expectant mothers to portray pregnancy as so violent and negative.
Libertarian Viking Neighbor's response was that people consensually hurt each other all the time, and "there's like a whole community about that, with the acronym the one that starts with a B" And his reasoning was that if the mother was consenting to bring attacked by the baby, it in fact wasn't violent and negative because there was consent.
He brought up people consensually hurting each other, didn't go for one of the obvious answers like boxing or body mods or something, no he went STRAIGHT TO BDSM and he DIDN'T EVEN REMEMBER THE ACRONYM
"you are not owed the product of anyone else's labor" but about child birth too
one time in college i was in a creative writing class and this guy was holding up the critique with what i can only describe as like cinemasins dinging another student's writing. and at some point the professor said "the plot is the fork and the prose is the meal. you are critiquing the taste of the fork"
The thing that works so well about the new mutants lineup is that it’s made up of weird girls. There’s Dani “knows all your worst fears and sees cryptic visions of death” Moonstar, Illyana “socialized by an evil sorcerer” Rasputin, Rahne “believes in biblical demons and will tell you about it” Sinclair, Xuân “literally inside your head” Cao Mạnh, and Amara “raised in Ancient Rome but it’s actually not ancient” Aquilla. Not one of them is remotely normal, and other than Illyana, each of them is thinking “thank god I’m the normal one here.”.
Not sure what I was expecting out of Platform Decay, but confirming jollybaby has a huge dumptruck was not on my bingo card
they call it amtrak because the trains am on the trak
District Movies made more posters!!
They’re beautiful
just found out you can actually see tau Ceti from earth
how many times do we think Eva Stratt went star gazing then but only ever looked in one place in the sky for the whole night
how many people do you think looked up at that star and thought of the diligent sacrifice those astronauts made, unaware of the man forced to die up there
how many times do we think grace saw that very star and didn't think twice of it, unknowing his whole life would change at that very distant speck in the sky
how many— (gets shot)
