Did Thad ever actually like/love Amelia?? Or was it just a play/grooming for his political career? Also SOOOOO looking forward to the Moira/Will showdown next week!

I think he liked her quite a lot when she was who he wanted her to be. I think he loved the idea of her. I think he was thrilled she was hot, pleased she was smart, adored that her politics lined up with his. But did he like or love her… no. I don’t think so. Not like he should have. I think he was possessive over the image in his head of her and loved that in a way that surely wasn’t healthy. I wouldn’t say there weren’t feelings there. There were. But she was so close to who he wanted her to be that if he didn’t look closely she became that woman. And he loved that woman. But Amelia? The parts he overlooked? Those are the parts that make her who she is. And he did not love that. So he didn’t love her. 

And you guys… next week’s showdown? WHEW… You’re not ready. Or maybe you are. It’s been a few years in the making. 

Normally, I wouldn’t do teasers this early… but I’m in the mood. So… 

“Come now, William,” she says with a beleaguered sigh and dismissive one-handed wave. “I’m not the villain you imagine me to be.”

I AM happy, actually. Thank you! Will absolutely rips Moira a new one next week. He has some lines I am incredibly proud of. It’s deeply emotional and exposes a lot of Will’s vulnerabilities that he so often keeps hidden behind a smile. It’s raw and honest and harsh and I love it tremendously. I’m highly confident you guys will, too. This is why Jules doesn’t speak to Moira anymore, yes. Or, more accurately, next week’s is. And she’s not the only one.

I’m So Sorry

I just received an ask about if I am going to finish You Used to Be My Friend and I wanted to let everyone know I will finish all of my WIPs.  RL has kicked me hard.  My husband is going through mid life crisis so we are in the middle of a divorce.  I am living with my son with limited funds since hubby was kind enough to take the out of joint account and put in an account in just his name. I was sleeping in my son’s living room for the past six months but thanfully, he just bought a house.  We moved last weekend but due to gout for Ryan and back for Steph, Steph’s mom and I did most the moving, arranging movers, unboxing then Steph had surgery on Wednesday so I took her and got her meds etc.  On top of that Comcast has been either on the phone or out her trying to get the internet fixed which has barely worked since I got it on Saturday.  Add the stress of the terrible texts I get from the hubby and my life has been a comedy of errors lately.  lol.  I promise I will finish A Bat Reaches for the Light, Friend, Splintered Destiny and I have decided to go ahead and do endings for my two hiatus fics, You Had Me at Hello and Blue Eyed Angel.  I know @thebookjumper has so much on her plate and I don’t want to have those two hanging out there. Please be patient with me until I can get settled enough to write for more than five minutes.  I love you all and appreciate your encouragement and patience.

This is the quintessential Olicity song for me. The lyricsencompass absolutely everything this relationship means to me. No other songeven comes close to capturing the essence of Olicity like Ingrid Michaelsondoes. It was the song I listed to over and over again for Broken Pieces when I wrote the scene of Felicity telling Oliver she’s pregnant. My favorite lines are “And you taught me what a life is for. As a married mother, I’d like point out that, whilst I carried the baby, my husband and I  BOTH became parents to said child. Pregnancy and parenthood doesn't just happen to the women. Some people are automatically assuming that a character’s pregnancy affects only the woman.

Season Finale Thought

Oliver was acquitted so technically he can't be tried and found guilty again for the crimes of the Green Arrow. But wouldn't it be poetic justice if Agent Watson went after Rene, Curtis and Dinah for their vigilantism? And that was the second thing? (Lyla would keep Dig and Felicity safe.)

I refuse to believe that Em does not have people who love her sincerely and are not giving her good advice. Like S, she must be ignoring advice or just listening to bad advice, otherwise there is no explanation for what happened this weekend with her. If they are still so foolish the scandal so feared will come sooner than expected.

At this point I’m hoping they get exposed, put everyone out of their misery with a “scandal” that will last 1 day and get on with their weird lives.

I think I am most bewildered by how many people seem to think that you spend the rest of the day reeking of gas fumes if you touch a gas pump. Do they think you pour the gas all over yourself…? Why are these gas fumes clinging to you through your day such that you will not be fit to be around other humans…?

Geez, what a bunch of fucking numpties! They’d last 2 seconds in the UK. You have to pump your own gas here. And unless you're dowsing yourself you're not going  to smell of gas. Can't trust  themselves to pump their own gas but sure, they're confident in their abilities with firearms.....
