Janus (Star Wars Sequel Trilogy, Ben x Rey, 48k) is by far my most popular work, I think, based on a prompt I got for the Valentine's Day Exchange in 2016 that then ran completely away from me. At the time it was probably the most ambitious piece of fan fiction I'd ever attempted in terms of its focus and its descriptive as well as its emotional scale, and I consider writing it a sort of turning point. I could not have done it without the careful, conscientious, and always wise help of @incognitajones as my beta
Repairer of the Fences (Star Wars Sequel Trilogy, Ben x Rey, 38K) was written in 2021 and allowed me to finally fulfill my secret dreams of creating a historical romance novel, or at least a novella, although taking Ben and Rey and sticking them on a farm in the Berkshire Mountains (Edith Wharton country, as one reviewer correctly pointed out) in the 1890s took a few swerves and steps. Adding to the list of thank-yous, @toooldforthisbutstill's beautiful French translation was such a gift.
Friend of My Youth (Marvel, Thor x Sif, 4K) came together faster than I expected it to and I enjoyed the way it let me explore the history of these two characters together, even if Marvel doesn't seem as interested; I also tend to gravitate towards pairings where the dude does a lot of the pining (it's my weakness, if you haven't guessed) so digging into Sif's emotions - even from Thor's perspective - was a lot of fun
The Fullness of Time (Marvel, Stephen x Christine, 7k) was written after I watched the fourth episode of "What If...?" and was like 'wow, that was really sad; I will write a stand-alone piece about these two characters in whom I have an energetic but currently moderate interest to make myself feel better' and then my life was over.
Come Forth (Marvel, Stephen [Sinister Strange] x Christine, WIP at 36k), on the list if only because it is at the current moment the most ambitious piece of fan fiction I've ever attempted, in terms of the items listed above + the supernatural and magical stuff. Will I (or anyone else on the planet) be satisfied with how it turns out? I hope so, but we'll have to see
