Disabled people have extra expenses, so they need the extra money. It's expensive having even one, managed, disability or chronic illness.

Yeah, Andrew Yang's fake UBI was bullshit. Not only because disabled people have extra needs, but because funding UBI by cutting services to the poor and disabled means poor and disabled people would get the least benefit from UBI.

If I have to give up my $600 SSI and $200 food stamps to get $1,000 UBI, that means I'm only getting an extra $200 a month. But Elon Musk would get the full amount without having to sacrifice anything?

A "universal" program funded by cutting programs for poor and disabled people isn't actually universal.

Me about to make a very important point about disability rights: *gets out soap box. gets out ramp to be able to get on said box while in a wheelchair. pops a wheelie and begins slowly inching my way up to top of soap box. shimmies back and forth a bit to make sure I don’t fall off. locks wheels. clears throat* I forgot what I was going to say.
