btw, we don’t just coincidentally have strict voter ID laws in Wisconsin. they weren’t like that until our very conservative governor Scott Walker put laws in place specifically designed to keep POC, poor people, and college students from voting. we’re a swing state, so he knows if he can keep those groups from voting (particularly people in Milwaukee and students at the university of Wisconsin in Madison), it’ll push us over to a red state… which it did. the whole thing was completely calculated.
