So I’ve seen people talking about this scene. Some argue she’s checking to see if the light will burn but come on, why she caressing the sheets like that if that’s the case? Makes no sense.

The argument that this is where Bea would sleep is a lot more plausible. Especially since this scene comes shortly after Ava asked Bea to run away with her. That’s all the convincing I need.

Now, I’ve also seen people suggest that maybe they’ve continued to share a room here since they got used to it in Switzerland. Some people have pointed out that there are a couple times, like when Vincent is in the room, where Bea just marches in no hesitation. 

But I think this right here is stronger evidence

I’ve seen poeple talking about how Ava barely looks surprised to see Bea standing there.

When I first saw this, I assumed Ava was storming out, as in out of the room. But she’s actually storming into the bedroom. Where Bea just came from.

It’s implied there’s an exterior door in the bedroom as well but like, either Bea was already in there, or she just straight up walked into the bedroom. No knock. No hello. Just directly into the room where they sleep.

People might be asking why Mary's the pillar in this illustration:

Mary, throughout Season 1, was still experiencing intense grief after Shannon's death yet she was able to bring everyone together (also the only character to genuinely knock some sense into Ava)

Simply put, Ava wouldn't be there on top if it wasn't for Mary (Season 1-Episode 6 was one of their most wholesome episodes) She continued to believe in Ava until the end of the season. Plus, I believe she knocked some sense into Lilith and Mother Superion as well 🫡

i love this hug so much. they just like, slam into each other. like it’s inevitable. like they can’t help it. and there’s so much relief on ava’s face and you can see how she just breathes out cos bea’s there

actually you know what i’m not done because being separated at the museum is actually probably the first time since ava found the secret warrior nun room that ava and bea haven’t been in relatively close proximity.  or at least haven’t each been fairly certain where the other one is.

like ava’s biggest fear is being alone, being abandoned, and bea fucking showed up in shannon’s old room and kicked sister crimson’s ass and then just?? never left??  and they end up in the tiny one-bed apartment in the alps for two months together and that was awesome

and then they get separated and ava wakes up with no bea but also no idea what happened to her cos she got knocked out, then she ends up in a church with miguel picking a fight with waaaay too many people and??? bea just fucking shows up??? again??? because she told ava she’d never be alone and she fucking meant it

and thats what this hug is, this hug is holy shit you meant it, you came for me – of course i did it’s my job and my pleasure, i said you’d never be alone – you’re here and that automatically makes everything better even though we’re surrounded
