We've been receiving a huge number of messages and comments asking for translations into other languages, as well as many generous offers from people who would like to help translate the game!
To make this process easier to manage and to ensure it doesn't interfere with progress of the update, we have put together a few simple guidelines for anyone interested in helping.
Guidelines for translation
Read requirements below before applying for official translator:
Please check this sheet (link) to see if your language has already been taken
You should be able to translate from English into your target language
You must be able to correctly translate pronouns used in the English version (including female, male, and non-binary forms)
Basic understanding of how variables work in Ren’Py is required, as much of the text relies on them (Related to the previous point) You should be able to properly create and adapt variables for your language when needed
If your language is not supported by the current font, you should be able to choose a readable free font for the translation
You will be responsible for the translation work in the game, including implementing and fixing any issues if necessary
If you meet these requirements, feel free to send your information through this form. The more requirements you meet, the higher your chances of being selected as a official translator
