Reasons to Stay is a suicide prevention project that offers anonymous, volunteer-written letters to remind readers they are not alone. Letters are freely available to read, and visitors may also choose to write a message of support for a stranger. All letters are reviewed by clinically trained volunteer moderators. The project was created in memory of Sam West, who died by suicide in 2018.
Friendly advice for my fellow spiritual people, you may know that the word "shaman" is considered controversial because it appropriates indigenous terms and is almost always used to describe specifically non-white practices, and white religious practices are almost never referred to as "shamanistic" even when they have similar features, so it's probably best not to use that word.
As an alternative, I would like to recommend using the word mystic instead, or mystical practices (as opposed to "shamanistic practices"). Historically the term mystic was used in a pretty similar way to the word shaman, and covers things like communing with spirits, trance or dream work, astral travel, protective magic and stuff like that, but it's not as appropriative. If you call someone a mystic, it's probably going to conjure a similar image to the word shaman, but it won't be as racist. So that's my advice!

I LOVE this post and wanted to add some additional info, cause I see a lot of people who assume that drawing asian hair is the same as drawing white hair. This is not the case! Thereās more to it than just the color.

Just like OP, Iām only one single person, so if anyone wants to correct me or add something I missed, then go for it. And further disclaimer, there are exceptions to everything Iāve said in this post, and it only applies to East and Southeast asian people who are either not mixed or white-mixed, as those are the hair types Iām most familiar with.

my mom just recently started selling things on facebook marketplace, and earlier she was telling me about her first-ever interaction with a buyer from there, and i was expecting some sort of insane horror story because she started off describing how he was VERY direct and brief in the communication and was clearly in a hurry to meet up asap, but she went on to describe waiting outside at the rendezvous point and seeing this big huge guy pull up on a motorcycle "and you could tell he works with his hands and makes a lot of money" (paradoxically described as having dirty jeans but a clean and well-taken-care-of face(???)) and he just pulled out a wad of hundreds to pay her in cash. he was of course buying a pair of silver james avery earrings from the 1970s, and he explained the reason he was in a hurry because he was about to go meet a different fb marketplace seller to buy the matching pendant from the set, and that it's for his wife who collects all sorts of vintage james avery stuff. thanks for the sale big huge dirtyclean motorcycle guy, i hope your wife enjoys adding your purchases to her dragon hoard
