I have the headcanon that Remus is shy and quiet, actually an introvert, until he gains confidence with people and he starts being a little devil, like super sassy and funny.
The two people that he opens himself the most are Sirius and Lily. He is occasionally sarcastic and open with the others but he is just 100% himself and talks a lot and messes with only them.
