Finally, a pinned! Hi, I go by Shiny and welcome to my page. I've been on Tumblr for far too long and in a few different fandoms. I'm usually big into FFXIV, but Destiny and Lodi have me in a chokehold at the moment. I've been playing Destiny since the day the original launched back in 2014 (on and off at times), but I haven't actually written for it until Edge of Fate, and well, Lodi happened. He is happy place at the moment and I hardcore ship him with my Titan. They are current OTP and I'm enjoying writing about them. I also ship my Awoken Hunter with Crow, which I really need to write for. I also write for XIV when the mood arises and rarely some other stuff. My ask box is always open for prompts and to say hello.

The method of obtaining the Cyan Dark Matter Crystal is bullshit. What do you mean that obtaining a high-level contract is ALSO RNG??? And it’s kinda hard to differentiate between them and regular contracts??? Why not just add it to Priority Contracts???

This has probably been pointed out, but shoutout to my buddy/clan mate who pointed out that the coordinates that IV gives line up with those of Chicago’s. Which means that Lodi not wanting the other planets to find out about his nightmares is probably moot. I gotta find the other tapes…I’ve been lazy.

HUGE fan of the recent influx of posts about how people are enjoying playing destiny and having fun playing it and i mean that so seriously. it's such a breath of fresh air compared to the 98% of destiny spaces that seem to be entirely populated by toxic cishet men who are constantly whining about how bad the game is despite the fact that they haven't played in five years and people who have been forcing themselves to play for years without realizing they like actually don't like it. like this is awesome. imo mechanically destiny is at its most fun to play right now AND it's the beginning of an entirely new saga so we get to have like millions of mysteries we'll get to figure out and i love seeing other people just as excited as i am. yippee

In case you aren’t aware, you can complete the “Dredgen Dash” triumph (Complete Glory Beyond in under 15 minutes) by running the mission as normal, leaving at the start of the escape portion at the very end, and restarting from that checkpoint. Bungie out here teaching us why QA teams are important.

I gotta say the fate saga is a huge slam dunk for living weapon enjoyers. on one hand we literally have the guardian be called "weapon", we have Lodi being sent to the future specifically to be used as a vessel for gods to speak through, and then we have Bael literally losing parts of himself for a god that told him he was special and irreplacable who uses him like a tool he can fix no matter how many times bael breaks
