You know sometimes I wonder if the heat the Hazbin fandom gets is because it is simply stronger than outher fandoms. It can run on nothing but litteral hopes and dreams. That's what the prepilot eara was just hopes and fucking dreams. And there hasn't been a point scence I learned these characters fucking exist that I havent seen a consistent stream of fan art for 7 years. Yeah theres a influx when we get content but good fuck we never run out of shit to say about them. Theres a reason Viv took like 10 years to cook these babies. There seasoned. There's more going on there than any Netflix show has to offer.

Like I litterly can't think of a fandom with this level of raw power besides maybe Starwars which you know that's fucking Starwars. I'm always told about the epidemic of fandoms dieing quickly after the show drops. Not this fandom no no no. If there isues that's becuse there is so much talking and going on that yeah problems are going to show up becuse any time you have people socializing your gona have isues at some point. As someone who watched TADC after it had all been released, it pisses me off so much to see people have the wrong perception of the story. The theme of the story is not at all supposed to be redemption and forgiveness. It's not a story about how caring for someone can fix everything. Jax is an incredibly well written character, and the point of the scene after her abstraction is that her abstraction was self inflicted. No amount of forgiveness and comfort from her friends make the outcome any different without Jax herself actively making an effort to change for the better and let people in. She refused to do so and it resulted in abstraction. As someone who has a friend who is veryyy similar to Jax I despise that people say her plotline is bad representation just because they don't personally know someone like her.

Okay. Now I'm actually getting mad. I'm seeing people say Jax is bad trans rep not because she was a bad person (not that people have stopped using that shit), but because her semi-official what-if scenario drawings (by Gooseworx and Ashley Nichols) where she did transition portrays her as "hyper-feminine".

You know, the character created by a trans woman as a worst-case scenario for her of what would happen had she never transitioned and a cautionary tale of what happens when you refuse to open up. That character.
