Getting lost is always worth it when you find yourself in the end 🗝⠀ ⠀ Yesterday was my 32nd birthday here on Planet Earth. I spent it here in Mama India on a solo scooter adventure through the jungle to find this beautiful place called Turtle Beach that I had all to myself. Earlier in the day I had cake with my yoga students and later in the evening dinner and Bollywood dancing on the beach with my new yoga family here in Goa 🎉 It was perfect 🙏🏼⠀ ⠀ A year ago I spent my 31st birthday in the Sacred Valley of Peru on what was to be one of the biggest leaps of faith I had ever taken in my life, when I decided not to return home and wasn't even sure how I could continue sustaining myself at that time. I never thought I would be spending the next one under the Goan sun ☀️⠀ ⠀ 31 taught me to love and let go, to be free and yet restrained. I can live within my means, travel the world and have all my basic needs covered. When I have all of my needs covered, I can pursue my hearts desires as a gift to the world, and that in and of itself is abundance ✨⠀ ⠀ Thank you, 31, for giving me the space to figure out my dreams and the time for me to put them into action. Now I as move into the next year of my life, I surrender further into this sense of Divine Trust and Divine Play, so that together we can all be vehicles for Love through living our Purpose here in this amazing existence 💫💛💫⠀ ⠀ (at Galgibaga Beach Goa)

The sacred circle 🌀 ... Some who knew me as a kid may perhaps laugh at this. When I was in 5th or 6th grade at a private Christian school, I developed my own group called the Sacred Circle. It came about because someone had driven a stolen car in donuts around the football field, leaving a giant circle of tracks in its wake. I wanted to keep the circle there and we would drag our feet on it every day to keep it from fading. ... We had 5 members who all represented the different elements- earth, air, fire, water, and ether. How I knew all of this at such a young age I don't even know. But the truth is we all inherently KNOW our true nature. We have just forgotten it. Our vision has been clouded over. Whatever religious teachings I had been taught by that time I was completely uninterested in and sought an earth-based meaning to our existence and had started studying paganism and Wicca by the time I was 10. ... Years later the circle came back into my life as a #hulahoop. And later as the aerial hoop. After all these years, the sacred circle is still an important and transformative aspect of my life - and little me knew that, all those years ago. Intuition is a powerful thing 🙏🏼 ... I said throughout this trip that the circus follows me everywhere, so it was fitting that I spent my last day in Costa Rica playing on silks by the ocean. I originally came to Nicaragua 9 months ago to work for a circus collective, thinking it would only be a 3 month journey. I brought a huge suitcase full of costumes but in the end, things didn't work out to continue working for them and I pursued my own path. 👣 I'm ultimately grateful for the experience because it led me to this place of self discovery and truly believing in myself. That I can do anything I set my mind to. That I am capable of healing and forgiving myself. And also resourceful and ingenuitive when it comes to traveling on a budget and earning money abroad. It's completely changed my life to say the least. 🙏🏼 I realized recently that sometimes I think we become addicted to this idea that we need constant healing. That there is something perpetually wrong with us all the time and we must look somewhere to fix ourselves, to some outside power to help us believe in ourselves. 👄 But the truth is, we are always perfect exactly as we are. We are always given the experience we need in this life. 🙌 In each country I visited I found some sort of circus arts. Like attracts like. What you truly desire will manifest itself into your life if you believe it enough. But you also must accept each moment for what it is, even if it is something you don't want at all 🌈 From performing at Envision to fire dancing on the beach, I think it's safe to say I ended up putting a lot of those costumes to use! And so I'm looking forward to my next journey to Southeast Asia, where I'll be bringing less costumes but am bringing my own set of silks this time so I can continue to provide the circus not only in my life but also to inspire others! 💜 (at Playa Hermosa, Jacó , Puntarenas)
