Wait as a cis woman in a patriarchal society my gender is very much making my life objectively much worse. But yeah I agree with the sentiment of the post
🌟 A Cry for Help: My Family’s Struggle to Survive in Gaza 🌟
🙌Verified by Butterfly effect project line 355
Before everything I'm writing this and my kids are starving they don't have anything to eat. I'm begging you to save my kids from this famine 🙏🙏‼️🥺🙏
Hello, my name is Areej Kassab. I’m a 27-year-old English teacher and writer from Gaza, and I’m reaching out to you with a heavy heart and a desperate plea for support. My family and I are enduring unimaginable hardships as relentless bombings devastate our home and our dreams.
We are a family of 15—10 adults and 5 children. Every day is a battle for survival. Food is scarce, humanitarian aid is not reaching us, and my little nieces and nephews go to bed hungry. Among them is my sister, who is deaf, and another sister who has a newborn baby. They, too, are suffering in this crisis, and I’m doing everything I can to protect and provide for them.
💔 A Life in Ruins
The war has robbed us of everything: safety, peace, and even the hope of a future here. My family’s needs are basic yet critical—food, clean water, diapers for the babies, gas for cooking, and other essentials to make it through each day.
With rising prices and limited access to necessities, we are struggling to provide even the most basic items. My sister’s home has been destroyed, and we are working together to ensure everyone has shelter, food, and warmth.
✨ My Plea for Your Support ✨
I’m a writer, and I’ve been documenting the harsh realities faced by my community under siege. But words can only do so much. We need action, and we need help. Your kindness can save us.
🙏 How You Can Help
Donate: Every contribution, no matter how small, brings us closer to securing the essentials we desperately need.
Share Our Story: If you can’t donate, please share this post to help us reach others who can.
Your support will help provide food for the children, clean water for my family, and basic supplies to help us survive this unimaginable crisis.
Thank you for reading, for caring, and for standing in solidarity with us. Together, we can create a lifeline for my family—a chance to live, to dream, and to hope again.
With love and gratitude,
Areej Kassab ❤️

I write these words with a broken heart. To everyone who reads this and ignores it, you might skim this post quickly, but my child might not even have two seconds. His body is collapsing from malnutrition and a rash as you read these words.
My children, Qamar and Omar, are completely exhausted. A rash is ravaging their frail bodies, and malnutrition is stealing what little childhood they have left. All I want as a mother is safety for them; treatment to heal their wounds, and milk and food to sustain them. What we are asking for is not a luxury, but their most basic right to survive. Please don't let them wither away before my eyes; donate now.
I am not asking for the impossible; I am simply asking for a chance for my family to live.
Please, do not leave us alone in this hell.
Share our story, donate, or help us in any way you can…
For your contribution today could be the reason my husband’s and children’s lives are saved—before it is too late.

Please, do not ignore us. Share this appeal. Donate if you can. Do not let my children suffer in silence simply because no one took action.
Please, everyone, help us. This is your last donation in the last 8 hours. My children deserve a better life. Please, please.
No one donated for us, why?! Why no one can help us, why???
If I see ONE post about how the “girl world” in The Testaments show looks so nice and how they wish they could have that I’m going to scream
These girls are oppressed!!!
They have no agency!!!
Please don’t be shallow!!!

The Nazi Israeli army began sweeping, destroying and bombing buildings on a very large scale, using weapons that we have never heard of before and that are very strange, as shown in the picture.
The Israeli incursion into the heart of Gaza City has forced countless families to flee south, leaving behind their homes, memories, and everything they hold dear. Imagine over 2 million people crammed into an area smaller than 40 kilometers, struggling to survive under constant bombardment. Streets that were once filled with life are now ruins; hospitals are overwhelmed, and basic necessities are scarce. Children are terrified, families are torn apart, and nowhere feels safe. This is not a battle it is collective punishment, a humanitarian nightmare unfolding in real time, and the world cannot turn away.
Map of Gaza City:
🔻 Blue: Fully controlled by Israeli forces
🔻 Red: Almost fully controlled by Israeli forces
🔻 Green: Currently under heavy fire, with many displaced people and civilians inside
🔻 Remaining areas: Where most of the remaining civilians are located

Hello, my name is Anas, and I am from Gaza. Some of you may already know me from my previous fundraiser on GoFundMe. I want to explain honest
i think the show fundamentally misunderstood hal and kate’s relationship this season and tried to do a lot of the legwork via flashbacks. more frustratingly, i don’t think the show understood hal at all in the eight episodes because, in the entire time we’ve got to know him, his agenda has always been pushing kate forward, front, and centre, which even rufus sewell has always maintained. callum was lazy writing; that whole condom conversation was ridiculous; the dennison pivot was bizarre with absolutely zero payoff after years of build up; stuart and eidra’s subplots were by far the most compelling and interesting thing. falling back on hal as the betrayer villain at the end of every season feels so contrived and boring now, especially if you’ve had kate textually realise that she might also treat him unfairly. where was any of their dynamic from s2? what a weird, weird, weird season.
It was at this moment that we all knew he'd fucked up.
Conrad Fisher: admitting he loves Belly to everyone in 3.08 “Last Kiss.”
As a society I think we should stop saying “Conrad is in love with his brother’s fiancee” and start saying “Jeremiah is engaged to his brother’s ex girlfriend”

shout out to my grandma who heard about how bad my mental health has been getting and asked my dad “well, have you tried taking him to the sea?” like you did to cure tuburculosis in the 1800s
The scene with all the high-society women who’ve spent three seasons trying to tear each other apart over the crown now sitting under the same roof to bury the hatchet for the sake of revenge is the realest thing I’ve ever seen. Nothing unites a group of women who can’t stand each other better than the shared desire to claw the eyes out of the same man.
