Darker sides to Sigyn?

Okay this is a headcanon, but I would find it really interesting if Sigyn is a person impossible to lie to or manipulate and it gets kind of frekay.

I like to think that Sigyn can see not just into you but completely and utterly through you.

You don’t have to tell her your life story, your small actions tell her everything, everything. you don’t have to tell her your language and she can already speak it to you fluently. She knows pivotal points in a persons origin as if their memories are hers but with a godlike outsiders view. She doesn’t read you like an open book. One look and she sees you at your very core. It’s why she’s so quiet, her revelations of you can slip out so quietly and subtly - and such a barren strip of a person being can take a hard hit to their ego or character. She knows you before you even have the opportunity to decide if you even want a relation with her and it makes people uncomfortable. It’s also what makes her a bringer of victory, she knows exactly which pawns are useful to achieve her goals.

The gods after all - are not tied to the laws of man.

You know what. I fucking hate that they took the fantasy aesthetic out of the Thor films and turned it into slob Sci-Fi.

The genre of the Thor films should always have been mythical and magical, like the The Hobbit or LOFR which are ironically enough inspired completely from Norse folklore. Yet a random guy adapted Norse culture better than a multi million company.

Say what you want about Thor: Ragnarok, but half of it along with whatever Thor: Love and thunder was - that was such a diabolical appropriation on the characters and their origins.

I think Sigyn has sleeper build.

Dainty, slender arms at first sight, than she pulls something heavy to her or lift something of great weight and BOOM. Biceps that challenge even Thor’s reputation.

Her golden arm bracelets have a habit of breaking and popping off because of it. Each time she’s always equally distraught and surprised.

Asgardians VS street level villains

I’ve always wanted to see an interaction between an Asgardian and a grounded Midgard villain—a street thug, a mobster, or anyone used to solving problems with guns, knives, and bombs—only to discover they’re facing someone who simply can’t be killed.

Asgardians look human, blending in easily among the Nordic people, and both Thor/Loki/Odin and Elliot Randolph (AOS) have been shown to put on disguises to hide in plain sight on earth. While they aren’t immortal, no ordinary human weapon or strength has ever been enough to truly harm one. It makes me wonder how fascinating it would be if a villain from Marvel’s more grounded stories unknowingly picked a fight with an Asgardian living in disguise.

I think a way to bring Loki's binding punishment into the MCU would be for that to be how he sees himself and his mental health. He imagines himself all alone, somewhere unreachable by others, a cave deep within the planet, and above him is a snake, maybe an extension of himself, dripping acidic venom not onto his eyes but his head, slowly degrading his brilliant mind. It's a symbol of how he's slowly losing the only thing he believes gives him value, one of his most prized possessions, and he's losing it all to self sabotage. Or maybe he's not so nuanced and the snake represents others, then again the chains originally made from the intestines of his own children could represent himself holding him back, his own flesh and blood. The lesson he needs to learn is that the snake will always be there, it's about managing the snake, holding a bowl to catch the venom, and it's not something you can do alone. He'll have bad days, days where Sigyn has to empty the bowl, days where he feels his mind melting further, but Sigyn will always come back.

If Loki and Sigyn were ever to be written as a healthy couple together, one of my headcanons is that she would be quietly but really accepting\loving and motivating to Lokis eccentric side (gender queerness and their canon interest in fashion) in fact I think a good reason they’d make a good match is because Sigyn could be just as essentric in these matters, but just less outward with it. In a cess-pool of eyeliner and colored hair, buckles, a million pearcings and painted nails and anything alt like, like Loki (the god of the outcasts) in Agent of Asgard is sort of implied to be like. She’s in elegant, plain, symmetric and light clothing.

This is why if she were to ever lay her poor eyes on her precious alt,queer, fashion forward and fashion challenging asymmetrical wearing husband - in a goddamn plain shirt, with a filthy brown jacket, pants and tie. with god damn orange as a third color pallet - I think she would fucking loose it.

I think her patient self would try at fist to not overreact and understand what this outfit is and what purposes it could probably serve. She would probably nail it down to Loki having another scheme up his sleeves. That is just a way to gain trust and then burn the TVA to the ground the second they turn their backs.

However when TVA Loki (the worst one) would try to make her understand he actually likes the outfit and won’t change it even if he had the magic to do so - she would try to take it off. Literally. Ramble about how it doesn’t even match his complexion, make several comparisons worse than what even deadpool got from Weasel, and If he would even dare come close to her she would scream in terror, begging him to not let the most boring 1950s inspired disasters to even taught her skin.

Comic Sigyn likes ballerina flats?

Love! That comic Sigyn really loves flats as shoes!

It’s very common for comic women to be dressed In heels as it looks more aesthetically pleasing - but Sigyn is often drawn in flats.

I can’t personally walk well in heels myself and have to resort to flats with tiny flat heels bc the balance on the bottom of my feet are kind of fucked up. it’s so cute that she’s like that as well.

Queer Sigyn?

No actually I don’t think it’s commented enough on Sigyn has to be in our human,mortal, midgardian terms: a bisexual or even pan. Like that girl HAS to be on the multi-gender attraction spectrum. There just no way she’s not.

Dating a shapeshifter is one thing, dating a gender queer one is another. I don’t feel like it’s acknowledge enough that anyone that truly has a thing for Loki, can simply just not be straight. You cannot truly love one side and not the other when it comes to someone that (at least in the comics) is genderluid.

So when it comes to Amora and Sigyn, I think the potential of them being queer should not be left out of the picture.

Sigyn x Loki headcanons

When Sigyn and Loki are out on an adventure and don’t have a hut or anywhere warm to sleep. Loki transforms into a huge wolf and cradles around Sigyn. The fur + extra body heat keeps them both warm. Sometimes he’ll even put his tail over her as an added blanket.

I want to think of jobs Sigyn could have had in Asgard but then I start spiraling how their economy works.

Fishermen is one (most popular for Nordic countries)

Librarian another (she’s potentially wallflower over how little she appears in the Edda’s)

A healer working in the medical field (it’s canon that shes a mage)

Perhaps one of Freyjas handmaidens? (Since she’s the bringer of victory and Freyja being the godess of love/fertility/war - means they would probably get along)

Goldsmiths and leather making and horn carvers is also popular but I’m trying to find something that fits is this was in Marvels Asgard.

In the comics, Sigyn frequently wears loin cloths and double slitted dresses. I head-canon that her legs run super hot and she can’t stand wearing pants. In the coldest weather known to man you will not catch her legs covered up. She’s the type to sport mini skirts in winter.

I believe Sigyn was his first.

Loki may have his suitors and swings. Especially after their fallout. However, no one turns him on naturally quite like Sigyn.

He can’t stand it, but his body gets naturally more nervous around her. More excited…like it expects something. Because his body knows what it can have from her.

Her curves have become a specific turn on for them, each time they see it on someone else. It’s one of the many things that make him gravitate towards Sigyn against his complete will.
