Important question. Who in the dog park would get a tattoo of their pet? I'm leaning towards Asky and/or Reavo
This is so important and im really glad you mentioned it.
Asky has an extremely large and beautiful tattoo that includes images of Cherny as a small puppy, a young dog, and, because he accidentally found an intelligent and sensitive artist, she left space for images for when he’s older. Photographers love it —photographs extremely well. Looks even better when they manage to get Cherny smugly in the shot.
Reavo doesn’t have and isn’t considering a tattoo of Sam but unbeknownst to him has a wealth of reference images and resources that his wife is compiling because about once a month she thinks about how Reavo is going to cope with losing Sam and then she immediately shoves that thought down hard and plans an elaborate play date for the two of them instead. Surfing. Visiting an animal shelter. Playing in the pool with Misa and Toff. Day long hike — tends to end with Reavo claiming he needs a challenge and carrying a smug and dusty Sam down a mountain. Reavo somehow always needs a challenge right before Sam’s limp gets visible. Al doesn’t look at her extensive folder of pictures often but if she did she’d probably look at those a lot, her husbands happy face, Sam putting up his nose for a gentle lick.
Toff has Misa’s paw print from when he was a kitten on inside of one wrist. He doesn’t talk about it and would be deeply uncomfortable if it was photographed or mentioned.
Sid wouldn’t mind having a tattoo that’s evocative of Mack somewhere on his body but he knows Mack would shame him for it so he refrains. It has never occurred to Mack that Sid would embarrass them both like that and he would, in fact, shame him for it if he knew.
Christina would never get a tattoo of Will but both her kids wind up with small red dogs, water colour style. Will doesn’t have an opinion on it.
