One year ago today I posted this miniature Star Wars Andor inspired photo I created. Shot practically using real figures, lighting & a couple of broom heads to create a crop field and a few perspective cheats.
More to follow, lovelies!
This is the year your knight became a paladin.
I know a post is doing well when the TERFs and bigots find it.
Thanks, lovelies, let's keep it up! <3
We got some pretty heft vet bills for the lil gremlin, so for the next 2 weeks my entire store is 35% off with code CAT35
I have an absolutely massive russian guy as my driving instructor rn
Whenever i get into his car i have to spend an embarrassing 3 minutes adjusting everything back into clown car proportions so i can fit. Anyways a couple lessons ago he had me do the same route over and over to practice and there was a dead seagull in the middle of the road at one point and to keep correct positioning on the road i was required to drive over its carcass like 19 times just goring this seagull until the 20th lap when my instructor looked at the seagull that now more resembled tomato soup than a bird and said "this time. you spare seagull" and so i did and then he said "incorrect positioning on road"

I am just so done with everything this week. Blah. Gonna play Vintage Story and drown out the noise.
is there a reason you chose the word 'tomboy' specifically for tomboy biweekly? i'm just curious - i don't have like, a preference or anything either way, but i tend to think of 'butch' as the more common term for a masculine woman, so the word tomboy was just a bit of a surprise lol. but maybe 'butch' is only more common in (american) english? idk lol
Oh boy. I'm glad you asked me cause some people are very much not chill when it comes to explaining that, but Chandelle is not butch. Butch is indeed an American English word, but beyond that it's a whole identity that comes with social, cultural and sexual implications rather than simply an aesthetic, and some butch women take exception to people using a term fraught with history to just mean "wears a tie". Tomboy is a much less loaded term, and let's be honest a much more appropriate one.
These portraits I've done for the ttrpg EUREKA are the best way I can personally illustrate the difference between a tomboy and a butch lesbian.
Look at this baby faced idiot. She's not butch, she overheats when a taller woman looks at her.
Tomboy is also an accurate translation of the word garçonne, which is the French label that would have fit Chandelle back in her time period.
Artfight attack on @bowelfly !
Careful on the gas now Brother Herbert, someone's being flippant with their corndog back there.
