Anyway, I like Transformers, Mettaton, and I have an unhealthy obsession with Gamma Jack/Gazerbeam.

It makes me laugh to read this because I'm the complete opposite. If Jack ends up being called Jackson, I'll cry.

But I'll die on this hill that Jack/Jackson is a possible middle name or at the very least he thought the name Jack was a cool name not to expose his identity because of how smart he is 👀

I'm still firmly in the camp that his name actually is Jack/Jackson, but he picked "Handsome Jack" for his alias when he was either a teenager or a young adult just because it sounded cool, and it took a few years for him to realize that might not have been the best idea. But he was already an established hero at that point, so he couldn't just change his name to "Radiation Man" (or something, I don't know) because that would a) be confusing for people who aren't obsessed with keeping up with superheroes b) every hero, villain, and fangirl was calling him Jack anyway, so the damage was done. Eventually he did change his name to "Gamma Jack" because that matches his powers and is more unique.

Also because I did a lot of research on American names of the early to mid-20th century and found out there were hundreds of thousands of people named Jack, about 1 out of every 400 men. So even if supervillains knew his name was Jack/Jackson, that wouldn't really narrow it down enough for them to actually find him.

(Though regardless of his actual name, I do wonder why Pixar gave him this alias since there's already a character named Jack-Jack in the movies. We can make head canons for it, but I really want to know what actually happened with making this guy!)

I think I did it...

I think I finally figured out what was wrong with this chapter...

It only took me four months, but I think I'm finally back to making progress on The Fallout of Biohazard.

And it was one stupid scene's fault! A scene that's probably less than 5000 words has kept me locked down since February! But it has finally started to give way. The first crack in the dam holding back my motivation, my determination... The fruits of my labor may still grow as night has slowly embedded into dawn. An oasis keeping me safe in the desert has bubbled into a river, ready to nurture the barren ground.

So, yay! More Gamma Jack torture soon! :D

I'm currently rereading all of Radiation Leak so I can hopefully get around to writing the next chapter, and this is surreal. Half of the time I'm just noticing typos and whatever, amd the other half I'm thinking "I WROTE THIS WHAT I CAN'T WRITE THIS GOOD HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO WRITE THIS WELL AGAIN???"

Anyway, hopefully I can actually write more Radiation leak soon! I'm not sure when, but this is my baby, I want to write more!

Even if I apparently have to reread over 200,000 words first... Wow, I miss locking in this hard.

The author vs. reader experience is so weird.

I can write hundreds and hundreds of pages of characters going through every kind of suffering, and the entire time I'm just giggling and kicking my legs as I watch them and my readers suffer.

Then I'll read a story where my favorite character stubs their toe, and my reaction is, "*le gasp* How very dare you?? That is my precious little pumpkin and I will not stand for this dishonor! I shath rebuke thee and swish my cape at you! Good day, sir!"

Even if Gazerbeam is back, his ankle is sprained, and the Screenslaver has become the newest supervillain he has to deal with, Simon Paladino still has a civilian job. Thankfully, Jack is around to make sure that Simon is doing okay.

This is so funny because why would Jack would 100% botch the trial because he's already getting bored and two would insult Simon's eyes sight for being "blind" man's eyes are just blurry.

And Simon not having the ability to control the radiation and being scared is so cute not to mention Blazestone just spewing everything out all the while Simon listens in horror.

But all time fave not them understanding how to use their powers which is even perfect XD

HC 2, but Jack sees himself in a mirror and has to do a double take because 1.) It's weird seeing yourself in someone else's body 2.) He's wondering if he can convince Simon to dress like when they're back to normal because Jack would definitely thirst for Simon in a half unbuttoned shirt.

Only Jack has been looking in the mirror for too long, and he forgot about Simon's laser eyes, so he accidentally shoots himself in the face.

Simon would find this funny, but he's busy trying to figure out how to stop Blazestone from noticing "Jack" disintegrated the chair he was sitting in after she started telling him about her and Lucius's relationship.

Bob and Lucius are concerned because Jack and Simon keep running away from them for some reason. But Bob assumes they're doing undercover work and Lucius assumes they're on a date, so they respectfully leave them alone.

Does anyone have some song suggestions for when you need to write about too guys falling in love in 1970 but their lives keep getting interrupted by their mutual fears about how they'll ruin this relationship because one of them is a womanizer who finally matured and only just acknowledged he's bi and the other is so concerned about making sure his boyfriend is happy and safe that he forgets he also has feelings and needs that are important? Also there's an evil rich lady who hates them cuz of her trauma and bad reasoning skills?

After a few months of "Fly Me to The Moon" by Julie London and "The Last Words You Said" by Sarah Brightman, I still adore those songs, but please, I need suggestions for music to listen to while I write (and day dream for a needlessly long time about these two).

I was scrolling on tiktok (as always) when I saw this video that was like "POV you're the main reason the incredibles got popular again only 4 it to die in less than 2 months" showing gamma Jack. n omfg, when I opened the coment section I saw those stupid persons who hate on the character n on the ppl that like gammabeam like. YOU LEFT THE FANDOM WHEN IT WASN'T POPULAR ANYMORE N YOU'RE HATING ON THE FANGIRLS, THE CHARACTER N THE SHIPP THAT KEEPS THIS THING ALIVE STILL? One of my fanatics has a huge chunk of its comment section dedicated to a Tangled AU and I don't know how that happened, but I'm proud??? 😭
