cereal at 8 am: the poor man’s meal, a poverty feast, delapadated wheat, a mouse’s luxury, bastard scraps
cereal at 12 am: a feast fit for a king, absolute decadence, god’s snack, gorgeous grains, unrivaled hedonism
lets not forget this gem
cant believe we’re leaving out this
and more importantly this
interesting how you forgot
and
ok but
and
hmmm and perhaps
and these ones too
I’m not sure how you managed to forget this gem:
excuse me but:
LET HER SPEAK
i knew working 500 jobs and getting 3,000 masters degrees wasnt the healthiest way to live
Hey calm down. It’s incredible. Barbie talks about feeling pressure to be happy all the time but she isn’t and she gives the little kids watching this reassurance that their feelings are valid. It’s really really cool.
She also addresses other important things in her vlogs like the reflex lots of girls have to apologize for things even when they aren’t your fault and her sister Stacie’s trouble with shyness and a bully and how maybe sometimes it’s best to just walk away from bullies and standing up for your dreams and the dream gap and the harm that “it was just a joke” does.
She also does silly things and food challenges and stuff but she also talks about more serious topics and it’s wonderful.
We do not disrespect Barbie in this house.
We stan an icon.
GOOD OMENS ‘SATURDAY MORNING FUNTIME’
hey i didn’t expect to be empowered by being horny on main over older women but i was and every time someone says that i’ve influence their own tastes when it comes to women, i wanna invite them on a journey.
Crowley momentarily forgetting that the rest of the universe exists.
What’s amazing is how evocative he manages to be whole completely hiding his eyes.
I just realized that there’s a high likelihood that PART of the reason David got cast (definitely not the only reason, but probably part of it) is because of how emotive his entire face is. A lot of people will keep subtle emotive acting to their eyes, and that’s generally fine, but when he’s got those dark sunglasses on 90% of the time, that’s not gonna work.
But because David is David, he was able to shift those little moments to his forehead, his mouth, the tilt of his head. And that’s pretty damn good acting if you ask me.
it’s the goddamn eyebrows, man. his eyebrows are his acting style.

this post gets more absurd every time it crosses my dash
ways your characters can show varying emotions
to show sadness (grief, sorrow):
- sharply sucking in a breath
- hiccuping from crying so hard
- uncontrollable sobbing
- slumped shoulders, head down
- weather can be used to show emotions — not just rain, but a shining sun and birds chirping contrasts well with a grieving character
- depending on the person, sadness can result in lashing out at others for no reason or shutting everyone out
to show anger (rage, frustration)
- red face, fists clenched
- narrow eyes
- sharp comebacks, gritting teeth
- the air around them is tense
- others may be silent, ignoring whoever they’re angry at
- inhales
- angry. tears.
- kicking, punching, slapping
to show shock (hurt, confusion)
- wide, confused eyes
- freezing in place
- collapsing to their knees
- silent and blank-faced
- ignoring everything else happening around them
to show happiness (joy, delight)
- bright eyes
- crinkles around their eyes from smiling so much
- laughter!
- optimism
- playful, laid back nature
- the weight being lifted off their shoulders
- relaxed sigh
if you’d like me to do more of these, please like and reblog, and follow for more!
today i went to a place and theres just, straight up peacocks allowed to roam around, theyre wild but also not shy around people, i have a pic of one eating corn flakes from my hand
yeah, peacocks will… they’ll do that.
my great-uncle breeds them and some of them will just wander into the house. it’s been years since i’ve been to his place, like well over fifteen years, but one of my most vivid memories of those birds is one got in the house and tried to eat the TV remote.
They are not shy because they are composed entirely of hubris and spite. They are the thousand eyes of a god. They’re only visiting this mortal coil to judge everyone and yell at anything they don’t approve of, which is basically everything but especially the fact that morning still happens daily.

Is anybody else obsessed with understanding how others perceive you like… who am I in your lives… what kind of person am I… a friend of mine told me once that I’m mysterious and I was like ??????!???)????
*me handing out a papers* I’m gonna need you all to write a detailed essay of min 45 pages describing exactly how you perceive me and why plus an oral presentation with appropriate soundtrack.
If you ever hear me breathe deeply it’s not because I’m annoyed it’s because I forget to breathe sometimes
The next time they tell you Americans are “happy” with their employer provided health insurance remember that that “happiness” is fueled by willful ignorance of what the alternatives are really like and fear of losing what little crappy health care they currently have.
Having experienced several other countries’ health care I am amazed and amused when Americans tell me that theirs is the best in the world…
I always try talking to my parents about how healthcare overseas is way less expensive and America really needs to a national health service
They respond with “but it’s hard to change” okay and ??? A lot of things the government does is hard to change?? I’m confident that people with degrees and experience can copy a European model
And “but the quality of healthcare would change” oh you mean like how every other person we know has been misdiagnosed with something? Like how my aunt had to figure out she had lead poisoning through Google while her doctors were sending her to cancer specialists? Like how my dad had to take meds every night for years for glaucoma that wasn’t there? The great quality of American healthcare we all talk about is at places like Cleveland Clinic. Highly specialized, lots of funding, top doctors in the country. Not your every day physicians office or your local ER or local specialists. Those aren’t the top quality American healthcare places our government boasts.
But okay. Hypothetical situation. Say every single office and hospital in the states is ran by the top doctors in the country–the world. Say we have the latest equipment in every local ER. People with cancer and those in near-fatal accidents will be very lucky despite the debt. But most medical treatment people need every year (I’m assuming based on, uh, life): antibiotics, x-rays, medication refills for chronic illness, birth control, routine check-ups, and vaccinations (and even then we have people who aren’t doing that).
Do Americans think that they need the top healthcare in the world to get a round of antibiotics? Do they think Europeans are suffering through illness because their lowly doctors can’t diagnose the flu?
