im actually obsessed with mel king. i love how they show her using various self-soothing/stimming tactics to calm herself, how shes able to communicate and connect seamlessly with higher supports needs autistics, how shes awkward but she's never put down or made to seem lesser for that, she over-explains herself but she's never teased by the other doctors or nurses for it. i love how respectful the pitt is about showing an autistic healthcare worker, especially compared to some other shows (cough cough the good doctor)
