And where was her friend w the huge following calling out any of this behavior when her friends were doing the exact same thing to other shippers?

These creators w huge followings loooveee to step on a soap box and post they are against bullying harassment when it comes to gwynriel shippers being harrassed but then they support their friends who have been publicaly called out (with proof) when they doxed Brycriel shippers. They say nothing when their friends are bullying elriels and making fun of any other ship art. They say nothing when their friends are spreading lies.

listen no one deserves to be personally attacked on either side but when you are guilty of this same behavior and proudly boast about perpetuating drama, you play stupid games you win stupid prizes. You can play the victim all you want but the fandom is seeing your true colors and your all getting called out for YOUR behaviors. Don’t act like you actually care about the bullying when you only say anything for gwynriels. You never call out the bullying when it’s gwynriels doing the bullying and personally attacking others.

What if Azriel felt a pull and an inkling that Elain was his mate before they were turned (like Cassian felt for Nesta), but when it was revealed that Lucien was her mate he figured he had been wrong. The pull to be near her though was still strong, so they became friends and the attraction began to grow til he couldn’t deny it and it was obviously two sided. Then he forced himself to stay away because the feeling they were supposed to be together became so strong he didn’t trust himself around her anymore. Even without being near her, he still constantly thought about her and wanted her, but was willing to torture himself by staying away because he thought it was doing right by her (just like Rhy with Feyre and Tamlin). So when him and Elain almost kiss and asks Rhys what if the cauldron was wrong, it’s not because he feels entitled but because him and Elain are so powerfully drawn to each other it’s impossible for them to stay apart and when they do, it tears them apart.

I’m just gonna say it: if you have to tell people to read a bonus chapter for your ship to make sense, then your ship isn’t exactly obvious. And funny how Gwynriels act like Elriels hate the bonus chapter. When in reality, most people read it and go, “Oh, so Azriel and Elain are clearly into each other.” It didn’t weaken Elriel. It confirmed it.

People saying Azriel “lusting” after Elain in the bonus chapter is gross and proves they won’t be endgame… like ??? Be serious. Of course he’s attracted to her. That’s normal. Unless one is asexual (which Azriel clearly isn’t), being into someone includes physical attraction. That doesn’t mean that’s all it is.

He didn’t just look at Elain and think “smash.” He took her to the garden to make her smile. He saved her. Stayed with her all night just to listen. Gave her a gift that actually meant something. And yeah, he’s also insanely sexually attracted to her. Not even in a “only my pleasure” way. In a “I want to pleasure her ” way - like HIM going down on her. That doesn’t cancel out everything else. It adds to it.

God forbid someone is sexually attracted to their significant other.

God forbid you actually want to be intimate with the person you love.

God forbid you want someone body and soul.
