Take mental health days
Take one day off studying. For me it’s Tuesday. I don’t get much done on Tuesdays anways bc of my lecture schedule.
1. Sleep for 8+ hours
2. Go for a run, stretch whatever floats your boat. Be physically active and go outside (you need that vitamin D )
3. Eat food that really fuels your body
4. relax
I’m so unmotivated after a whole weekend of studying and an exhausting Monday but after my mental health day (actually it’s just a mental health morning and noon ) I feel so pumped to study again and rock that semester !
I thought this was for high school students, when workload is less, but this is pretty good for college/university too!
Honestly I feel like I would go insane without my regular breaks. The workload throughout my chemical engineering bachelor was huge but I was able to calculate more efficient and concentrated after taking breaks. It was thought at the start to take time off but it helped so much in the long therm.

what the FUCK. this changes the statistics of what we know about covid cases, it fucks them right up.
jesus christ these people are irresponsible and selfish and vile.
I hate it here so much.
Transcript:
With covid on the rise and the vaccine readily available, more and more businesses are requiring their employees be vaccinated, and to prove that, they need a vaccination card.
Now, this is a problem for people who don’t want to be vaccinated, and there’s some people out there who are turning this into a business opportunity.
Meet “5starjazzii.” She has over 300,000 followers on Instagram and quite a few hustles. You’ll notice in her description “founder of antivaxmomma2.”
Yeah, that’s because “antivaxmomma,” her original account, got deleted, and I suspect it’s because she posted stuff like this, advertising that she’s selling fake covid 19 vaccine cards for 200 bucks a pop, but they’ll have real lot numbers on them. Now she’s been continuing this from her new account and even from her main account. She posted this the other day, explaining that she has a backlog of messages, and also that she’s looking to expand her team, so if you have computer access at hospitals or CVS, “DM me ASAP.”
Now that led me to believe that she’s either stealing existing lot numbers and putting them on the cards or she’s getting someone to enter people into the system that haven’t been vaccinated to generate their own lot numbers. But I didn’t want to make assumptions so I decided to message her and ask.
I told her I worked at a Walgreens. She said to text her ASAP. She asked if I had access to enter the vaccine information into the system and then asked, because I’m in Florida, how do people here verify they’re in the system, because in New York they have an app. And the person she has in New York doing this can provide the numbers that the people can check in the app. I explained that in Florida you have a site you can do that on and asked what exactly she needed. She told me she provides the person’s name, date of birth, address, the vaccination date, asked if I can backdate them, and then has me enter them into the system to generate lot numbers. So I would enter them into the system as if they had just received the vaccine, WHICH THEY HAVE NOT, but the system would believe that they have, and if someone checked those lot numbers, it would say their name. That made me curious how many people were doing this. She told me the woman in New York that’s doing it for her, she’s given 100 bucks a person, she’s doing at least 30 people a day, and that woman’s making 10,000 dollars a week. Do the math on that. On how many people are walking around with legal documents saying they’re vaccinated, and they are not. She’s also asked if I could provide her covid 19 cards.
Now you may ask, why would someone take the risk and do something like this? Well, it seems in her case that it’s at least due in part to the fact that she believes that the vaccines are sterilizing children as part of the Gay Agenda. Now, she’s not going to be doing this any longer, the FBI’s already been involved, but when I hear people say things like, “why bother getting the vaccine, people are getting covid who are fully vaccinated?” I have to wonder, are they?
Transcript ends.
Fucking kudos to him for actively involving himself and getting this information. Jesus christ, this is genuinely so upsetting.

at my job we have to go through a training program that teaches us the library of congress classification system, and when i was first being trained my boss started to boot it up and she gave me a really anxious and guilty look and said “listen, i’m really sorry in advance, there’s nothing i can do about this, just…. just try to get through it” and i was like lol what’s she talking about and then the program loaded and i was greeted with a deliriously funny-looking photoshopped wizard with glowing eyes pointing at some intro message like “AH YES, JUST AS THE PROPHECY FORETOLD… APPRENTICE, YOU COME AT A TIME OF MOST DIRE NEED… YOU MUST LEARN OUR WAYS” and my boss just looked at me helplessly and was like “i’m so sorry. it’s like two hours long.”
thankfully it wasn’t an elaborate fever dream and i have found screenshots
holy shit
In the Pokemon fandom, every once in a while you stumble upon a ‘Pokeballs are $200′ joke. In reference to how Pokeballs cost 200 of the in-game currency:
What a lot of fans, especially more casual ones, don’t seem to realize is that the currency in the Pokemon games it based on the Japanese yen. The symbol for the currency in the games even resembles the yen symbol:
In fact, according to Bulbapedia, the ‘Poke dollar’ symbol was specifically created for the English translations of the games, and the original Japanese versions use the yen symbol.
Now, for perspective, although the exact exchange rate naturally varies, a US dollar is equivalent to about 120 Japanese yen. So, 200 yen is about $1.67.
A Pokeball in the Pokemon games actually cost less then two bucks.
There’s a REASON we see so many young kids training Pokemon, especially early in the games. The cost of investing into a Pokeball to try catching their own Pokemon easily falls into the range of a typical kid’s allowance. A Potion for healing after battles is 300 (or about $2.50), but since Pokemon Centers offer their healing services for free, that’s a moot point.
Youngsters in the early game only give within a range from 50-150 of the currency, which is about equivalent to $0.40-$1.25. The first Gym Leader in Hoenn Region, Roxanne, give 1,680 in Omega Ruby/Alpha Sapphire, equivalent to about $14. Which is about right for the equivalent of a middle or high school honors student. A later Gym Leader, Winona, gives 4,200, or about $35. The Champion, Steven, gives 11600, or $96.67.
The winnings from enemy Trainers varies, but Ace Trainers seem to give out about 1500 or $14 on average, give or take. Swimmers (especially common later in ORAS), award a range from 400-800, or $3.33-$6.67.
Vitamins (such as Calcium, Iron, and HP UP), cost 9,800 or $81.67 each. An Ultra Ball cost 1,200, or $10. A Paralyze Heal costs the same as a Pokeball, while an Awakening is half that. A Revive is 1,500, or $12.50.
What’s the point of doing this? Well, for one, to get a better sense of the in-game economics, which can be hard to grasp if one doesn’t realize the in-game ‘Poke dollars’ are based on the Japanese yen. And a look at said economics reveals some interesting details.
First, it shows basic Pokemon training and raising is well within the affordability of a ten-year old, or older. Which makes sense as Pokemon is aimed at younger kids, and the develops would want them to have the sense that going on a Pokemon journey is something they could do if they somehow ended up in the Pokemon world.
On the other hand, it also shows there’s really not that much money to be made in Pokemon raising and training, unless you battle frequently and regularly against higher-level opponents regularly and and win. Which is…very much in line with how professional sports work in real-life. Pokemon battling gets compared to a sporting event a lot for a reason. The initial 3-D games were even called Pokemon *Stadium.* Parallels are frequently drawn between the Pokemon League tournaments and the Olympics in the anime. The low money output is probably also why we often see Gym Leaders and the like working other jobs.
Just something interesting I decided to look into. I’m a Pokemon fan first, before any other fandom, and always will be. It’s shocking that I haven’t written any meta on it yet.
Hope you enjoyed!
that still doesn’t excuse this bullshit though
bikes are the most valued object in the pokemon games because no one has a car
