When Jason goes back to the manor for the first time he calls Damian Demon Spawn. Everyone is thinking that its because Damian is Ra's grandson, but no, Jason wouldnt use facts about someone [That they cant control] to come um with piss-off-nicknames, give him his creativity back.

Jason calls Damian Demon Spawn because every time they were on a League Mission together and they would stumble upon the supernatural, Demons would ALWAYS come out from above or below Damian. He was ALWAYS in the place the demons would come from purely by COINCIDENCE. It happened so much that every time they were expecting a supernatural fight they'd turn to Damian ready to attack the demons. And it pissed Damian off every time someone would report the mission and mention in so much that Jason started to call him Demon Spawn.

Its months later when Robin, Red Robin, Red Hood and Nightwing were on a mission together and they'd knew a fight with supernatural beings were coming [It wasnt the main purpose of the mission obviously but it happens] and Jason pointed his guns at Damian that they understood. When the Demon portal came from below Damian Jason cheered SO HARD "DEMON SPAWN!!!!!!" That it made Damian try to slice his helmet off at some point

Humans Are Weird: Healing

These aliens were not ready for humans...And they definitely weren't ready for the kind of athletic, adrenaline-seeking, and way too smart for their own good kind of humans that came to their base.

Human *rolling on floor after wrestling*: Oh man. I think you fucking bruised my rib Alien *staring at other human laughing*: You did what? Alien: No, we have the most up to date medical information on humans- Other human: he's right. You can't do anything for ribs. They just heal. Alien *even more horrified*: You just- REGENERATE?!

You know what, since I'm thinking about it anyways, let's talk formalwear accessories. Most of these are traditionally menswear but a bit of gender fuckery is good for the soul, and frankly most of these are about making your mass-produced clothing fit and lay properly without having to go to the tailor.

Shirt stays: these go around your thighs to hold your shirt down, so that it stays smooth and tucked in. They're usually elastic, with 1-3 clips, and if you wear skirts frequently this is a GREAT way to make sure your top doesn't ride up. The clips will be visible if you're wearing something tight, so loose pants or skirts are where these do best. There's also an insane version that clips to your socks, but that is for lunatics. If you wanted, you could also use one of these clips to hold up thigh-highs.

These do a great job of smoothing and narrowing the waist area by keeping your shirt from bunching there.

Sleeve garters: usually metal, leather, elastic, or silk. These are usually worn with button-down shirts to adjust where your cuff falls on the wrist or hand. They're properly worn on the upper arm, and you pull the fabric of the sleeve above the garter until you cuff is where you want it. Because this creates a puff of sleeve at the bicep, it also broadens the appearance of the shoulders. It's great if you're working with your hands or if your sleeves are often too long for your preference.

Waistband clip or belt adjustment clip/buttons

Three different ways of tightening the waistband of a pair of pants or a skirt. You're not going to get more than an inch or so tighter without weird bunching, and for most of these you'd want them to be hidden under a shirt or jacket, but they do the job if that's something you're having issues with.

Collar pins: There are so many fun ones out there, both with and without chains. They're not terribly practical, though the slight weight may help keep your collar where you want it. Also consider collar tips, which pin (surprise) to the very tips of your collar points.

Sweater clips/guards: meant to hold your sweater or cardigan mostly closed. Great if your cardigan doesn't button, or if you don't like it to be buttoned all the way.

There's tons of other stuff out there like this--etsy is a great place to find this stuff. A lot of these are old solutions to the very modern problem of mass-maufactured clothes not being as one-size-fits-all as advertised, but they're also a fun way to put a bit of personality into businesswear.

Okay I love shit like this and have to add: if you don’t like the garter shirt stays for any reason, next best is the stirrup kind.

But menswear doesn’t get to have all the fun! Here are a few traditionally womenswear accessories:

Hem weights keep your skirt from flying up. You can get sew in and temporary ones.

Lingerie pins keep the straps of your dress and your bra together! They can be hidden or very cute. You can go for vintage ones if you’re obsessed like me or just find either fancy safety pins or small bar pins.

Some also come in groups of three with chains that keep the straps from sliding off your shoulder.

(Often these will get mistaken for baby or doll pins because they are very small, 2-3 cm in length.)

Glove clips hold your gloves to your belt or purse whole you aren’t wearing them, but keep them close at hand (ha).

There are SO many things like this and I love discovering more of them. Humans like to be comfortable and not fussing with their clothes all the time. We’ve forgotten so many ways that people have solved common problems in the past.

I adore "Humans are Space Orcs", "Humans are Space Australians", etc, but I think a very interesting thing that could be done is "Humans are Space Something". Like. Humanity enters the greater Galactic Community, and by all accounts we're a pretty average space-faring civilization. We have one or two weird quirks but so does every other species so it's not really that odd, and by this point the universe is so saturated that you'd be hard-pressed to find any species that's completely unique in every respect. By all accounts, we should be just another race in space, doing the same things that just about every other race in space does.

But no, for some odd reason, everyone still feels like humans are different somehow. We're unaware of this, and at first the rest of the galactic civilization is too, but as time passes it becomes clear that something is... off. Literally nobody can figure out what it is. By every metric we're doing the same normal things everyone else is doing, and our biological traits and behavior are unique but in the same way every other species is unique too, with a lot of overlapping concepts with other species and the expected level of cultural differences that everyone else has and naturally expects. Humans aren't special. But any time a human does anything, the aliens can't help but feel this weirdly unsettling subconscious reaction that tells them "Something is happening". It's like there's a weight behind what humans say, what they do, how they act, some form of bizarre importance to it, even though they're literally doing the same thing everyone else is doing. It causes humans to be viewed... weirdly... by the aliens, in a weird indescribable way that they can't quite put their finger on. There's just something about humans that's... something. No one can figure out what, but it does lead to a bunch of weird space superstitions. Is it good luck to have a human on board your ship? Is it bad luck? Is it something else?

Humankind obviously has no clue what's going on either, but hey, superstitions are something we can use to our advantage.

Love the idea that the evolution of aliens on another world isn’t necessarily kinder or any less brutal than humanity’s evolution but aliens are still left in shock at just HOW MUCH ‘Humanity’ had to endure before it became Humanity.

Alien planets have experienced an extinction event maybe once, perhaps even twice if they’re just that unlucky during their evolutionary history and had to start the long process of rebuilding and adapting from the rubble. And then they look at humanity’s evolutionary history and…’What the F**k?!’

Humanity has had no less than FIVE MASS EXTINCTION EVENTS.

We’ve have space rocks dropped on us, had the sun blotted out, had that one time where everything just fuckin died (Literally called the Great Dying) and our evolutionary ancestors still managed to squeak by. And that’s not even mentioning the ‘less dire’ events in our history including multiple ice ages, at least three wide spread and lethal plagues, two really really bad just truly awful wars, and a whole bunch of other natural disasters that very much should have at least slowed us down for a lot longer than they did.

The aliens learn about all of this and turn to their squishy, delicate human companions and say

“Why does your planet want to kill you so badly? Do you need help?? Do you want to come with us???”

And the humans are just like “Thanks but no thanks, I get homesick.”

Damian: She was not, however after my brother was brought out of the Lazarus pit he was given a few old cameras in an attempt to make his mind focus on something not harmful to himself and settle down. He took a lot of photos of our family during his training.

Damian, peering at the photo: yes, Todd got quite good with the timers on those cameras, he took many a photo holding me like that. I believe it was a special campaign designed to get on grandfather's nerves enough that he'd agree to watch the movie with us.
