So nocontextlestat finally spoke about things…..and wow. This sucks? She didn’t “ drop the fic” as soon as she was warned about it ? She FOUGHT people about it and started to BULLY them? If she stopped charming for fanfic as soon as she was told it was illegal why tell someone “ I hope your heart rots from hatered it what’s you deserve” …her ENTIRE ass post is making herself the victim in EVERYTHING she got called out for. Also the fact charging for fanfic is against the law isn’t the SOLE reason not to charge? It’s disrespectful to the author??? The fact she STILL doesn’t get that? Also I’m sorry but as an AUTISTIC person myself I really hate the way she’s using being autistic and having stress as some bullshit excuse to get caught being nasty to people. Zero apology for bullying the person who kindly told her to not charge for fanfic. No apologies for screenshooting someone else’s fic and mocking . No apology for MULTIPLE people involved in the tarot cards saying you absolutely created a toxic and bad environment?no apology for ghosting her fans? Girl it DOESNR matter that you wrote a damn paper on Lestat and was noticed by them? It doesn’t give you the right to treat people badly ( she also didn’t bring up the fact she has always ignored Bailey) like goddamn how many times did she bring up the cast and crew noticing her? I really wanted to keep supporting her but to have like a FIVE paragraph where you make yourself the victim and don’t apologize for ANY of your behavior? Gross.

You know what ? You all joke about this but this is a serious thing to me and it adds up to how selfish Louis himself admitted he is .

It is actually a valid thing to say . Louis calls him and of course instead of talking about whatever is going on with their own relationship and THE after math of the BOOK which unleashed huge contradictions , Louis talks about his own problem and drags Lestat into it because of a huge mistake he made . And Lestat is just supposed to be okay Fuvk my own traumas let's put Louis's first ?

And you know what's more heartbreaking ? That Lestat did do it . He always did it . Even though he articulated his traumas in so many ways towards louis , somehow Louis either used them against him or glossed over it because he was so focused on himself and maintaining what it could mean about himself . 💔

So nocontextlestat that has come back and I’ve seen a lot of people excited because they thought she was just simply taking a break and don’t understand that there was actually something behind this. Before I start I wanna say that the whole reason I even started watching the show is because I found her account. I was a huge huge fan of hers and this is no way shape or form any type of cancer culture mainly because cancer culture doesn’t exist. She willingly chose to take down her account. I was really hoping that after some self reflection, she would come back acknowledge would happen apologize and then become part of the fandom again which would’ve been amazing! After all people make mistakes especially if you weren’t aware that you weren’t supposed to be doing something the first place however that doesn’t seem like the case again this is not meant to cancel her. I’m still hoping she’ll learn from this and apologize, but this is just in case  people who aren’t aware of what happened and wouldn’t want to support this type of behavior.. turns out she was charging for fanfiction on the basis that it takes her a lot of time and work to make them.. when someone politely pointed out that is in fact illegal to make fanfiction and charge for it, and the fact that Anne rice s was against fanfiction in general (She’s not from the US so there’s probably a chance that she wasn’t aware of this before after all, people make merch all the time, and no one gets in trouble for it as long as they don’t use any type of copyrighted images or words on it! )But writing fanfiction is not the same thing as making merch . You aren’t charging a story that would not exist without the use of another writers hard work. It seems bizarre to me that she claimed to be such a huge fan of rice and that she herself is a writer and wants to become a writer and yet can’t seem to grasp why it’s wrong to charge for fanfiction. After she was made aware instead apologizing, and no longer doing it. She had a complete meltdown and starting to belittle and quite frankly bully and be nasty to the people who are trying to politely explain this to her.. as you can see from the photos, she  tells someone that she hopes their heart rots from hatred because they deserve that for literally just telling her that she cannot be charging for fanfiction because it’s illegal. To make manners worse, she decided to delete her account and then brought it back and left a message saying she wasn’t gonna post anymore turned off all of her comments with a smile🙂 and then completely ghosted all of her fans Even now that she’s back, she still didn’t apologize for completely leaving her fans without letting them know what was happening. Again the whole reason I even started watching the show was because of her account it was deeply disappointing, and shocking to see her speak that way to another person, especially when she was in the wrong. Y’all don’t crucify me for saying this, but I’m I the only one that literally fucking hates the goddamn eyepatch on Armand? Like don’t get me wrong I get a lot of fans love it and think he looks hot ( which is true) I’m definitely gonna have that. The only reason they only did the promo with Arman and that damn bathroom was because they were hiding the eyepatch and ngl almost cried seeing a few different people involved in the show, heavily hinting or outright saying that they’re definitely trying to do a night island spin ( I know some dm fans REALLY wanted it to happen this season but I disagree. Their love story deserves to be told in their OWN season rather that’s night island spinoff or doing a vampire Armand book season but adding night island to it, their love shouldn’t be a side plot in lestats story but their OWN story) and I’m definitely not saying they made a deliberate decision to hide a poc actor and characters face a bit . Like I get WHY they did it and why some fans love it but goddamn do I hate it and wish it wasn’t permanent which it will be . I don’t remember Ann’s vampire universe, being able to regrow lost body parts hence why they don’t turn the mentally or physically disabled but just saying the show does make changes so maybe? 😭 idk like yes he looks badass and fucking bot and yes he would face consequences for allowing Louis and Daniel to put the book out if that’s why he got it. I just want to stare at his face fully 😭

"Why is Armand attracted to that old man? He is old???" Is a very funny reaction I've seen people have to Devil's Minion.

Because on a surface level, it does seem thematically interesting. You could talk about vampires forever looking the age that they died, aging, and the natural fetishization of aging an immortal being might have and how that might present, especially in a character like Armand etc etc etc. But also, there are people who want to fuck Daniel Molloy right now.

Like actual normal aged mortal humans. Most of them are significantly younger than 72 year old actor Eric Bogosian. Like ok you can't really argue that Armand wanting to fuck that old man is weird when a large chunk of people came out of IWTV thinking "I want to fuck that old man"
