"making them afraid will make them more racist" that's wild to me, because we live in a whole culture of social consequences for antiracism anyway. It is literally safer to be a racist than it is to speak up against it, socially.
Idk about you, but "I'm afraid no one will want to be my friend if I'm a white supremacist" seems like a pretty logical thought process to have, and I wish THAT were the normal and not "I'm afraid my friends will hate me if I tell them they made racist jokes".

"dolphins are completely evil" I actually don't think we should assign human morality to animals with no concept of law or civilisation with an intelligence roughly equating to that of a toddler
bottlenose dolphins use "baby talk" when communicating to their babies and smile at each other like humans do when they play. be nicies to them
"Dolphins are evil" is just a reactionary backlash to years of earnestly believing dolphins were all benevolence and rescuing sailors only to find out they can be dangerous and violent like any other large wild animal.
"Sharks are nice" is a similar phenomenon in the opposite direction. Pop culture portrays sharks as malevolant killing machines who crave human flesh, so when people realize they're just animals who don't attack people any more than other predators, they overcompensate into thinking you can just swim with great whites with no danger.
The reality, of course, is that both dolphins and sharks are large wild animals who should be approached with caution and respect if at all. It's probably best for you and the animal to admire them from a safe distance.
Same goes for chimpanzees and pandas btw.
Chimpanzees are not unhinged vicious monsters, they are complex social animals that are capable of treating each other with love and tenderness as well as shocking violence, just like humans do. Humans also have a track record of treating chimps terribly and putting them in high stress situations where they can respond violently. Human encroachment on chimp habitat is also forcing them into closer proximity to each other, leading to heightened territorial violence over dwindling resources.
Pandas are not useless evolutionary failures that should be allowed to die off and frankly the attitude people take towards them is unsettling from both a conservation standpoint and because it's like one step removed from eugenicist logic. Pandas are adapted just fine to life in an environment that is rapidly being destroyed by human activity, and their use as ambassador animals for conservation generates money that also goes towards conservation of species with less mass appeal.
