I spent weeks paralyzed by the weighty decision of what the funniest place would be to put this sticker
hey did i ever show you guys the Antarctica Penguin Flag:
there's. a whole lot of Antarctica on streetview. but this is my favourite thing.
had a fascinating dream last night where there was a new, virally popular trading card game - it was called MOUNTAIN (stylised in all caps) and the whole gimmick was that you couldnât buy boosters or anything - you had to find them?
nowhere sold MOUNTAIN - I mean, I expect players did, once cards were in their hands.
but acquiring cards meant noticing a box lying around, and justâŠ.nabbing it? theyâd be in weird places - in a skip, wedged high up in a fence, nestled in the branches of a tree? nobody ever saw who left them there, and there was a lot of debate about how MOUNTAIN boxes were sometimes hard to acquire without risking oneâs physical safety - but then, that was also bragging rights. especially as harder-to-reach boxes seemed to contain more elusive and sought after cardsâŠ
no, I donât remember anything about the actual gameplay, we never played any MOUNTAIN. alas. I know there were âframe cardsâ that were literally transparent but for a fancy metallic or holographic border, which I guess upgraded the card they were applied to? frames were super rare, my coworker literally ran up to me in the pub purely to show off the frame heâd just found
dream brain gimme the deets on MOUNTAINâs actual mechanics, Iâm invested in this controversial unpurchasable scavenger hunt game

I had a dream that I started seeing posts on tumblr about the "the pool water update." It was some new change to the site, being rolled out gradually, that people mostly didn't like.
When I got the pool water update, it turned out that when you opened up tumblr it would fill the room you were in with chlorinated water, up to the level of half an inch below your power outlets.
So to use tumblr you had to hold still, because too much movement would cause ripples that would rise to the outlets and electrify the water and kill you.
I had mixed feelings about the update. I got some pool noodles and it was nice to float around my bedroom whenever I checked tumblr. There was a trend called 'tranquilityposting' that I enjoyed. So not all bad.
There were a lot of blaze posts on dream-tumblr selling amulets that nullify electricity damage. Also, @max1461 claimed to have developed a 'posting technique that causes uncontrollable thrashing in 60% of tumblr users,' and was demanding a cash ransom to not use it
How did you train your cats to not wake you up?
By rolling over and stubbornly feigning sleep if they did.
Their brains are little cause-effect engines. If standing next to your face and yelling until you feed them doesn't actually produce that result, they'll eventually stop doing it. You just have to outlast them.
So, we tried doing this with a cat we were looking after. We would not get up until the alarm clock went off.
One morning, he was standing by my head and screaming, but not in my ear. I looked up and saw that he had his little face one inch from the alarm clock. Because we only woke up when the alarm clock went off, he decided that it was the alarm clock that he needed to scream at until it woke up.

âItâs totally possible to make a path that goes through every door exactly onceâ
Idk if I did it right
sorry!
itâs true you canât draw one continuous line that would do the trick. but if the kitty and bunny set out by going through the doors theyâre marked beside and each walked the certain way their colored arrows show at the same time their âcollective pathâ as a team would go through each door only once. The moral of the story is actually about friendship , and cooperation, because in this world there are tasks you canât do on your own.
im just fucking with you iâm pretty sure this has no right answer
i concocted a solution with a 100% mortality rate
Stop being so incredibly funny on my impossible puzzle post
You can switch the tracks so the trolley will kill one person, or you can allow it to attempt the fruitless crusade of running over each person in the maze only once.

What I love about tumblr is when we see a logic problem meant to be frustrating and/or unsolvable, we almost reflexively try to destroy it.
This websiteâs userbase is a chimp chewing through a Chinese finger trap
so anyway heres the actual solution
Day 1243 on The Path: I have learnt much of hate. It has become apparent to me as a Hater that my only chance of ever escaping this place is through abstraction. This plane is strictly governed by rules just like any other. Predicated by an objective truth of how we collectively define a âdoorâ, a âwallâ, a âroomâ, a âpathâ, a âstartâ, an 'endâ. We all understand these basic concepts and thus are infinitely trapped within their confines. My only hope is to abstract The Path. A 'doorâ has power over us, because we understand it as a space to pass through a 'wallâ. My understanding of 'onceâ as a limitation is what keeps me here. These are the rules I must 'dis-understandâ. I know what I am. What I am capable of. What I am made of. These are my own personal rules by which I govern how to define my self. These are my limitations. I know what a door is made of, just as I know I am made of flesh and bone and teeth. I know teeth can 'biteâ. I know teeth are part of what I am, and so, by that logic I have proven I am capable of biting a 'doorâ, or indeed, of biting a 'wallâ. With the proper approach, I can bite and hate a 'wallâ. Now I must learn how to bite a 'roomâ. How to end a 'startâ. Things that were once otherwise inconceivable to any other hater. But more, I must understand anew, that I am also the 'pathâ. Just as I am the 'wallâ and the 'roomâ; I am become 'doorâ.
To leave, I must go through all of my self exactly once.
