This is my first 5 star review since ACOTAR and FBAA.
I am heavily in love with this book. If you are a fan of romantasy that does not sacrifice independent character development, a great plot and a unique magic system - The Witch Collector by @charissaweaks is for you.
A witch without the ability to speak, Raina Bloodgood is on a mission to save her sister and her people even if it means sacrificing herself; but she soon realizes the world she lives in is not what it seems, and the people she has harbored deep hatred and vengeance for may be anything but her enemies.

Raina proves you do not have to sacrifice strength for softness, wildness for empathy, femininity for power. She is everything I want in a FMC and after one book I am already emotionally connected to her.
Alexus Thibault is an enigma. He is a tempered power, gentle yet forceful, ethereal and unyielding. His story unravels so naturally as his journey with Raina unfolds, but still left me completely enthralled and surprised. I throughly enjoyed having the dual POV and being inside his head as well as Raina's and watching events unfold from both their perspectives.
I did not see the twists in this novel coming - and I really love that. With all the books I read, I feel I almost always guess what's around the corner - but not here. The storyline and world feels fresh and new in a way I didn't realize I've been craving.
Supporting characters are so well developed even in short amounts of time (or even at times by a third party) that I feel connected and invested in their development and future.
There is spice that I think will appeal to both sides of the spectrum that is naturally developed and super well written. As a spicy girl I'm like GIMME MORE, but I honestly think it is inclusive of all readers.
So that's that! I can't recommend this book enough. I don't want to speak too soon, but I feel like it's going to become one of my favorite series.
