Christopher Eccleston as Ninth Doctor Doctor Who —Season 1, 26 March – 18 June 2005
say what you will about Hannibal but it remains the only prime time television show wherein one man gives another man a breakup cesarian section
Steddie headcanon where Steve unironically listens to "I'm in love with my car" by Queen. Eddie finds out one day and think it's the funniest thing that ever happened to him. He never stops taking the piss at Steve about it
If a rivalry lasts "the rest of our lives" then you are no longer rivals. You are GAY
happy birthday brook! hope you have a skele-ton of fun! yo hohohoho
Part 98 | Part 99 | Part 100 | Part 101 | Part 102
Steve “yeah I can’t cook” Harrington who’s been teaching himself to follow his mom’s old completely unused cookbooks and skills from home ec (which he assumes everyone aced because it’s just common sense stuff, right?) and is out here cooking restaurant level spreads, genuinely thinking it’s nothing special because it’s not 3 Michelin Star grade.
Vs Eddie “anything I’m fixin’ll taste good” Munson who will use ingredient combos no one on earth has ever considered because he learned to feed himself by combining whatever was in the fridge and seeing if he could keep the result down or not. Once he got to Wayne’s he had more variety to work with so he figured out how to make stuff actually taste good. It just looks. Awful.
They’re dating for two months before Steve realizes his boyfriend hasn’t just spent his life dodging food poisoning with sheer luck.
pros of having a large vocabulary: many words i know
cons of having a large vocabulary: many words i only know the vibe for
I can't count how many times I've researched a word because I don't know exactly what it means, only vibes
And sometimes only remember the vine/sorta meaning and a bunch of synonyms but NOT being able to recall the actual word....
One thing I really love about Stargate is that there isn't this idea of a one-step redemption for anyone. You can see that the best with Teal'c, who may have switched sides, risked his family, and threw everything in his life away in the name of fighting the Goa'uld. But he still faces the ongoing consequences for his actions while serving under Apophis.
In Cor-Ai (s1, ep 16), he was fully prepared to die as a legal consequence for not only killing the one man he was on trial for, but for everyone else that he harmed while (reluctantly) following Apophis's orders. In the end, he proves himself to the one person making that decision about his guilt, but it's obvious that he is yet to prove his own innocence to himself. Because redemption isn't a once off decision. It isn't a few attempts to do better. It's a lifetime of undoing the harm, proving yourself to be a different person, and still acknowledging that people have a right to be upset about the things you did before that change.
And Teal'c gets that. Stargate gets that. If only the more modern stories about redeeming once villains would understand that too.
Happy birthday Brook

Forget about Steve coming out to Robin and her ripping on his choice in men the way he did about Tammy. I think it would be infinitely funnier if Steve looks at Eddie doing something stupid, realizes then and there that he likes him, and roasting himself out loud because Eddie? The Freak? He’s in love with Eddie ‘The Freak’ Munson? Jesus Christ, he doesn’t just sound like a muppet, he is a muppet.

after watching the three doctors i'm even more annoyed about rtd's version of omega. what do you MEAN guy who'd had his entire body eroded into nothingness by the laws of reality but was so smart and so stubborn that he was holding his humanoid form and his whole planet together by pure force of will was turned into big mindless cgi monster
