the most beautiful thing of both Chernobyl and The Terror is that there are moments where you think the ending might be different. In the final episode of Chernobyl, we see the men fight back in the control room and for a moment we can hope that the reactor won't explode. We've already watched these men die. In The Terror, when they send for help or meet up with Indigenous people you are able for a moment to hope that some will survive, some will make it back. We have already been told they all die. Even though we know there is no hope for them, there is an inherent part of us as humans which continues to hope nonetheless

Was so excited for terror camp i signed up before remembering that its at the exact same time as a production of the nutcracker i agreed to stage manage. gonna just be terror camping in spirit ig :(
