Myself and three other girls shared a house in a forest, where we had to stay for five days while we waited for a rescue ship to come and get us. At night, creatures from the forest would try to kill us. We lasted a day before one of my roommates snapped and brutally murdered one of the others, and I found her mutilated corpse in the shower.

Ever since I started watching Shiboyugi, I’ve headcanoned Yuki as having ASPD, and Cloudy Beach kind of cemented my thoughts about it. Throughout the series, I’ve noticed that Yuki doesn’t seem to care much about anything, not even herself, or her own goals, aside from her goal of winning 99 death games. Her emotions are muffled. She derives joy from nothing, and the only times she expresses any strong emotion is when she’s either genuinely afraid that she’s going to die, or when Hakushi is brought up. I’m almost certain that Hakushi is Yuki’s tolerated person (TP), as she’s the only person Yuki seems to genuinely care about. The other players? Unimportant, Yuki kills them without remorse whenever they get in her way, or hinder her own chances of survival, despite her claiming to have an altruistic play style. She’s friendly with players she’s met before, but is that enough to say that she cares about them? I don’t think so. Yuki’s survival always comes first. The world of death games is deranged and bloody, and even Yuki doesn’t seem to know why she keeps playing them sometimes, but the answer always boils down to Yuki wanting to complete the goal that the only person she cares about left behind.

If you truly want to deconstruct colonialism, you have to give up Christianity. There’s no ifs and or buts about it. You can’t claim to be anti colonialism while supporting a religion that has been forced on people by Christian invaders, and used to justify slavery. Now that all four of the Eclair candidates have had their spotlight episodes—I’m sticking firmly with my choice being Kurea. I don’t think any of the other candidates ever came close, except for Rei. Let’s review:

Eriza—The curveball choice. Come on, did anyone really think that she was going to be the one? I like her, but let’s face it, she’s not cure material

Rei—The predictable choice. Oh, Rei, if you were in any other Precure season, you’d have been made the blue cure by now. She fits the standard studious blue cure template perfectly, but alas for her, she won’t get to be a cure. I’m kind of hoping that she’ll take on a Yui role, though. She can be a friend and ally of the cures without being one herself

Shiruku—The red herring. We haven’t had a red herring this big since Miyuki in Fresh! And I wouldn’t complain if it was her, but she’s clearly not Eclair.

Kurea—The obvious choice. All evidence points to her; her familiarity with Luluka, her instantly picking up on Anna’s homesickness, the fact that she can see Hannindas, her deduction skills, the fact that she’s a pastry chef, and eclair is a dessert—Need I say more? She’s Eclair, plain and simple. I can’t wait to see her transformation.

What I like about frutiger aero is that it promised a utopian world where technology and nature coexisted. It was an aesthetic that said, ‘Welcome to the future, you’re going to love it here.’

At the moment, I’m convinced that Kurea Howa has to be Cure Eclair. It’s true that Shiruku Ieiri presented some strong evidence in her speculation episode, but I’m pretty certain that she’s a red herring. Yes, there was all that stuff she said about memories, she has the same hairstyle as Cure Eclair, and Luluka seems to know her, but in previous episodes there was all that stuff about not jumping to conclusions, and in her speculation episode, she plays a character who wears a red bow in her hair, hence the red herring theory. As to why I think Kurea Howa is Cure Eclair:

-She’s appeared in more episodes than the other candidates

-She wears a butterfly hairclip, which appears to be Cure Eclair’s symbol (I know that Alexandra does too, but I digress)

-She’s a pastry chef, and Eclair is a dessert

-Her given name sounds a lot like Eclair when sounded out

-She’s the only character other than Mikuru who picked up on Anna’s homesickness, even though she doesn’t know that Anna is from the future, unlike Mikuru, which suggests a certain level of deduction skills

-She’s the only character who actually appears to be a good friend of the cures. They eat at Patisserie Chuchu regularly, she’s helped them with cases in the past, and she overall seems closer to the group than any of the other candidates

So unless Kurea’s episode completely proves me wrong, this is my answer for the Eclair debate as of now.

When I say I hate Christianity, what I mean is:

Do you ever think about the massive amounts of existential dread that Anna will have when she goes back to 2027? Knowing that all of the friends she made in 1999 will be adults in her timeline old enough to have kids her age? Or the fact that if anyone from Makoto Mirai City in 1999 sees her in 2027, they won’t know that she’s their friend from back then, and they’ll comment on how she ‘looks just like her mother did at that age?’ And, assuming that the theory is true, and that Mikuru is Anna’s future mother, how will Anna adjust to the fact that the friend she had in 1999 is her mother in 2027?

So umm we need to talk about the “new” ace flag and its creator. I’ve never had a more utterly bizarre and rude interaction in this community.

I don’t want drama. I don’t know this creator personally. But this is unacceptable behavior towards the community I am a part of it and it needs to be called out. Absolutely do not attack or harass anyone over this. I just need it to be out there so people are aware.

If there’s one thing people can take away from this, it’s this. Support your fellow aces. Uplift the people who aren’t being heard and actually listen to each other. That’s all I wanted to do in the first place. That’s how the community should work.
