When your bestie sends the most perfect gift for your birthday! The easiest Banana Oats muffins, whipped up in a jiffy and devoured by Baby R. The perfect #toddlerfood I've made till now! Oats, banana, eggs, aggery powder, baking powder, baking soda and yoghurt.. All blended up together, popped in muffin tins, baked at 180 degrees for 15 minutes, and voila.. soft, brown muffins are ready to eat! You can add other fruits to this mix as well. The second batch of amazing Chocolate Chip cookies turned out to be fantastic, following @handletheheat 's recipe literally to the T. Only difference was that instead of folding in chocolate chips (which I didn't have) I ended up roughly chopping and adding my last batch of Pastilles which I had picked up from Amsterdam. Nutella Brownie fingers are ready to serve! Followed the recipe by @thestayathomechef, and it has turned out to be the most amazing brownies ever! Baby R will be loving them when she sees this deliciousness tomorrow morning! 😎 Instead of choc chips, which I didn't have, I used dark chocolate Pastilles by @drosteholland, which I had picked up @amsterdam_schiphol_airport , and instead of melted chocolate, I added a dollop of Nutella to the mix. Needless to say, it turned out pretty good! Spaghetti Aglio Olio, with sauteed prawns and corn on the cob. I was feeling pasta-ish and had a packet of linguine at home. Wasn't feeling like a Carbonara which is heavier, but a light and nice olive oil pasta, with garlic, chilli flakes, coriander, lime, salt and pepper. Toss it all together, top it with parmesan shavings, sauteed prawns and done sweet corn. Pasta really is the easiest dishes of all times, and so so satisfying!! . . The 500th post has to be something very special. So from my favourite city, Amsterdam, comes one of the most memorable food experiences, through some food which is local, fresh, interesting, and something you might just think twice before tasting! Here's freshly shucked Oysters vs the famous Dutch raw Herring! The herrings are prepared fresh, served with pickles and onions, while the oysters come with a wedge of lime.
