YES. Love is love and all but can we also speak out about how scary and dangerous is it to be queer right now? If there was even one person who couldn't be themselves, that would be one too many. But its not just one, its thousands, and even more.

Ngl I don’t like that trope in fics where the party pokes fun at Mike for being “very obviously gay” and refusing to admit it before he’s come to terms with his sexuality. Genuinely nothing is scarier to a closeted person than being perceived as gay. If I were Mike I’d never look at another man again.

I always wait for Mike to blow up at them or for the insecurities they’ve instilled in him to come to a head, but it never happens. And I’m like “Oh. They were supposed to seem like GOOD friends then.”

bylearn where mr. wheeler brings up mr. byers at least once every class to the point that their students make a betting pool to see how many times mr. wheeler would mention him during a particular class. history teacher, mr. sinclair finds out about it by listening to gossip circulating during class and tells vice principal mayfield about it. mr. henderson and ms. hopper learn about it last and they all gather to decide the funniest possible way to tell will and mike about it. they work with the kids to plan a class where they count out loud until mike figures it out and get will in there for some reason.

when the plan is enacted it goes like this:
