Hey There,

    So today’s post is a charity giveaway as the title suggested. I was recently wandering around Cork City and was absolutely appalled by the amount of homeless people I saw begging in the streets in the pouring rain. It’s not the first time I have seen this but recently Cork’s homeless problem has become out of control. I saw people as young as 14/15 and people as old as 60/70 lying in the streets begging. Sometimes they will have a child with them and sometimes it was a dog. I saw empty shop doorways where people had try to gather what belongings they could, such a sleeping bags and clothes, in order to keep them dry while they went begging during the day. This also meant they were keeping their doorway spot so they might at least have some form of shelter at night. I can’t imagine living homeless and my heart goes out to anyone who is forced into this situation. Because lets be realistic, no one wants that for themselves or their children or family.

    So today I have decided to try do something about that and contribute to a charity that directly helps the homeless people in Cork city. The charity I’ve chosen to help is Cork Simon Community. But here’s the thing, I need your help too!! I have gathered a hamper of prizes worth over €350 that I am going to giveaway to one lucky person. Also, just to clarify, all these prizes were either bought by me or were PR samples I never got around to reviewing (bad blogger I know!).So what do you need to do to enter to win this fabulous prize?
